Davenport Lyons - threatening letters 8:31pm on 08 Dec 2008 Hi - I work in IT - and know that there are websites out there where you can actually fake your ip address. If you go into Google and type in 'random ip address generator' there are companies that can disguise your actual ip address when connecting to websites by making them think that your ip address is something else. May be worth thinking about - for example my ip address may be generated as some totally innocent person's ip address (if I were dishnonest or looking at stuff/downloading/uploading stuff that I shouldn't be. Hope this may be useful to people. Cheers!
