Obamanomics 4:46pm on 09 Dec 2008 '....People shouldn't kid themselves into thinking that past spending levels are sustainable. Diminishing tax inflows cannot be replaced with ever rising levels of public sector borrowing in order to sustain spending levels that are simply not sustainable indefinitely : Investor appetite for government debt is not limitless and the more we borrow the more the premium for new debt we will have to pay. We need to guard against this – otherwise we will be propelled into a downward spiral where rising borrowing costs have to be met by even deeper spending cuts: The reality is that over coming years the current levels of public spending will have to be pruned and pruned hard....'

Haven't you sussed it yet? The whole system is politicised by ZaNu labour plants. The police, the prosecution service, the judiciary, the education system, the health care system, the immigration system, the prison service, et al.

Nobody who is inline with the 'message' can possibly be found guilty of any misdemeanour or crime. It is simply impossible.

The whole rotten apple has to be cut out at the core or NOTHING changes.
Serious questions to answer 8:40pm on 03 Dec 2008 I could go on and on about BBC bias but it's all been said before and, to my mind, the only solution is to take away the money. If 1 million stopped paying the licence, Nick is silenced along with the ZaNu Labour mouthpiece.

But my real worry is the lack of backbone and decency of Labour back benchers. This is now 'spinning' compltely out of control and our democracy is seriously at risk. This is not helped by the announcement today of the proposed new law making it compulsory to tell any organ of thr state your ID.

Surely there are 30 of these men and women with enough backbone to actually realise that the country is more important than a Labour government at any price.

I hope but I am not holding my breath. Pigs, snouts and troughs come to mind.
