Thank you 4:48pm on 22 Aug 2009 The Swedish newspaper story is an anit-Semitic lie.

The recent organ cases were a fraud perpetrated by some religious figures who convinced people to donate their organs, compensating them $10,000 or so. They then turned around and sold the organs for $160,000. This is a terrible case of fraud under the guise of charity and is horrible crime.

It is, however, not murdering people of other religions for their organs, which is the blood libel charged in the Swedish paper. (Very similar to 1800 years of murderous blood libels spread against Jews by European Christians)

If the BBC had properly reported the story, you would not be so confused, Richard_SM.
Thank you 11:09pm on 18 Aug 2009 Maybe if you covered stories like the large Swedish tabloid carrying Anti-Semitc blood libels you'd present a truer picture of what is happening in Europe and hence gain more listeners.

Right now, it's the regular BBC stuff.

The basic facts are that every time the Israelis have made a concession or step towards peace, they have been attacked.

This has happened EVERY time. Why should the Israelis think their sworn Arab enemies will act any differently this time?

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the world ... 4:35pm on 16 May 2009 The BBC's anti-Israel crusade has been the subject of tens of thousands of complaints over the years.

When Israel is involved the BBC gives it the full court press and throws everything they can at the Jews, from Bowen to Have Your Say to publishing 'poor-victimized-valiant-Palestinian' stories without regard to the Israeli side of the conflict.

If you can't see the BBC's obvious distortions and bias in their reporting, I'll bet a lot more than my post puzzles you.

I gues you just can't get those daily Have Your Says, handkerchief wringing Jeremy Bowen cry-a-thons and accusatory 'suffering-child' photos from the BBC without having Jews to blame.

Where is your interview with the Tamil doctor who lost his family to barbarous government air raids, Mr. Lustig?

All your other examples cited in this column further point up the incredible montrous bias displayed by the BBC in its coverage.

Where are the daily EU denunciations of the civilian slaughters in Sri Lanka?

Where are the EU fundraising and recovery pledges by the billions?

Where are the daily BBC 'Have Your Say' topics about this?

I ask these only to contrast these EU and BBC behaviors when the poor Hamas soldiers were being assaulted in Gaza for their crimes of shooting rockets into israel.

In fact, these actions (or lack of actions) are a clear indication of where the EU and the BBC stands on Sri Lanka: 'Not enough Jews to blame'.

I, of course, include you Robin, who has managed to produce no bleeding heart stories of victims of 'fascist Sri lankan gov't disproportionate violence'.

Maybe the Tamils should declare themselves 'Honorary Palestinians? That should fire up the BBC propaganda engines.

They came to America and Israel to be full citizens. Your wild theories about plum offers from the Israeli governemnt are fiction.

Now that same Russian population in Israel is rising to defend themselves from Arab extremists who want to murder them.

Looks like they learned one good thing from Russia. When threatened, you fight back.
