Good man Fraser. Going Nowhere from that album is in my all-time top 100. I love the mixing of country with hip hop, although it's Bubba's rapping that really make it something special for me.

I'll be upfront and say that I've not heard this, and have no intention of hearing it either. But I can imagine that, if breaking up with your girlfriend didn't leave you feeling bad enough, subjecting yourself to a Flo Rida single might be just enough to push you right over the edge.

Spirit's incommunicado at the moment, cos he's off on a secret mission which prevents him from visiting ChartBlog regularly. Hence Rybak not featuring in the topical posts, and comments in general remaining at a disappointingly manageable level.

Still, on the other hand, they seem to have given up on the Reggie experiment which was annoying everyone so much. So, y'know, it's swings and roundabouts.

Since they want all the people in love to put their hands up, substituting the word "love" with "jeans", "Macedonia", "jail", "therapy", "advertising" or "flames" isn't really going to do the job, now is it?

Chase & Status ft. Plan B - 'End Credits' 4:30pm on 05 Nov 2009 I really like this. Really evocative - the music is dark in a menacing way, but the vocal's more sad and plaintive, I think.

Incidentally, I'm glad to see Plan B having a measure of mainstream success. His album from a couple of years ago (Who Needs Actions When You Got Words) is pretty damn brutal, and has some moments of real greatness on it. Funny to hear him sound so fragile here - his rapping is hardcore.
