Have you read The 'Proposed accession to the Asset Protection Scheme and B Share and Dividend Access Share issues' Document Mr Peston ? Pgs 1-186 ?

Is this a Protection Scheme or a Protection Racket ?
Will biffing bankers also biff Britain? 11:46am on 07 Dec 2009 Mr Peston....perhaps a little discussion on the etymology of the verb to 'biff'.

Does it not derive from the Latin 'bifere' ? Meaning to divide brothers to neither's gain ?

What a senseless, marginal, and poisonous little side-show...considering all the other difficulties the Treasury and Economy are facing you'd think that Mr T Scholar et al could devote and be directed to devote their energies elsewhere.

Even if it's only to take a walk in St James' Park !

How HBOS escaped closure 12:21pm on 04 Dec 2009 Mr Peston, Sir : Were there ANY exTREASURY bigwigs or advisors on the Board of RBS when the ABN-Amro deal went through ?

When Sir Fred was challenged about financing the deal he said words approximating to 'I think our credit would be good for that'.... implying that the Board would not seek funding from existing shareholders ? Any challenge from the Government or the Treasury at that time ?

Is it not high time that you investigated the interconnectedness of Persons and Institutions in this House of Cards ? As was said by one of the Protagonists in the Enron scandal...Enron was a House of Cards built above a Gasometer. What has underpinned the UK Banking Structure... FSA/Treasury/BoE Methane ?

NOW is the time for you to speak the whole truth.

How about your getting your hands dirty ? Name those who are to share the historical responsibility...who are those who REALLY made the mess and are now clearing it up ? Name Names, Names, Names....career paths and pension entitlements ! Please tell ALL.

You could make a start at a relatively lowly level with, say, the Investor Relations Dept at RBS.

And move on to the former Civil Sevants who went from No.1 Horseguards to plum Banking Jobs.

And then on to the PERSONS who were representing the Institutional Investors when they held private meeting with RBS upto November 2008?

Perhaps you'll need to protect your nose...as you may find an open sewer. And please, no partying for you this Christmas...

Are the two connected perhaps ? Or was Sir Fred the only Scot in the whole of the RBS saga to have had his own suite in this remakably well-appointed hotel ?

And further, Sir, have you mangaed to read, digest, and understand the Latest Circular from RBS Group plc ? All 186 pages of it ?

It is entitled 'Proposed accession to the Asset Protection Scheme and B Share and Dividend Access Share issues'.

It tells me on the very top that this is an IMPORTANT DOCUMENT and requires (my) immediate attention.

Any chance of discussing this with me over a drink in the aforementioned hostelry ? There are three blank pages at the end of the booklet : I find those the easiest to understand.

Dubai, if a bird at all, would be more like a wounded eagle than a canary. And the 'Trucial States' were not even parallel to a coalmine when they were still the Trucial States.

An enumeration of assets of the Emirates to say nothing of the other Gulf States such as Qatar and Bahrain should be placed against their total indebtedness. Big debt perhaps, yet massive assets .

When things are better for you Sir would you consider the parallels between the Enron scandal and HMG ?
What RBS's results say about QE 5:17pm on 07 Aug 2009 Do you think Mr Peston that the level of QE has been adequate for the difficulties being faced.

Or should we think of a number, double it and add 7 per cent of GDP ?
