A price for policing? 1:47pm on 07 Oct 2009 This is the usual mess from the DUP charge to get power,nothing was thought out properly. Dr Paisley said after the St Andrews agreement " we have successfully re-negotiated the Belfast Agreement" and devolution will only happen when there was an adequate financial package. So if that was so, why the chaos in the lack of funding across the board now. the truth is they are not fit for purpose, The people have hopefully seen through their rhetoric and continuous claims.

"I offend therefore I am" 10:48am on 07 Aug 2009 sammy talks of groups making a business out of racism, I have been unfortunate to have listened to DUP politicans and their leaders rant on over the last 40 years about the Catholic religon,the rants at the Pope in the EU parliament etc etc etc.Iwould suggest to sammy if you cannot talk about real politics then believe me the electoral are fed up with yourcheap attempts for publicity.sammy as a minister!!! tell us is your statement reflecting the DUP policy on this subject?

"We haven't gone away, you know" 09:52am on 09 Jun 2009 Peter Robinson and the Dup talk of the split in unionism. Does he not remember shouting at D.Trimble out canvassing calling him a lundy etc. The Dup have done nothing but split unionism since their inception. They caused a split in the Presbyterian church , the loyal orders and the unionist cause. They misled the electoral at the last election about going into power with Sinn Fein. The electoral on the unionist side need a party that tells the truth and that is not the Dup. The link between the Conservatives and the UUP is like a breath of fresh air in the N Ireland political landscape
Sylvia Breaks Her Silence 11:44am on 18 May 2009 To Stormontspy ,I think the leadership of the UUP is anything but in disarray ,in fact true leadership has been shown in their association with the Conservatives. It is long overdue to be closer to Westminister than what we have at present. Look at the Robinsons attendance at Westminister less than 30% BUT FULL EXPENSES CLAIMED some value!!!
Slimming Down Stormont? 1:15pm on 27 Apr 2009 We here all about reducing the numbers of MLA,s but what is the total number of jobs lost when you take in all the support staff and civil servants.It seems to me that the DUP and Sinn Fein are more interested in maintaining their position of power for themselves bordering on Stormont gerrymandering!!!
A Sop? 3:16pm on 22 Apr 2009 Cannot agree more with Shandon397, this was excellent journalism and Martina showed the First Minister in his real light, do not dare to criticise him.It does appear to be buried,perhaps the BBC has had the Belfast Telegraph treatment
