Moon Movies 11:50pm on 17 Jul 2009 In the moon sequence in 2001 when the astronauts walk down to the monolith there is some hand held camerawork and you can see the mighty Stanley Kubrick's face clearly reflected in an astronaut's helmet. My alltime favorite blooper!
Blog reply replies: A matter of opinions 2:35pm on 07 Jul 2009 you recently said on 5 Live about how Ice Age's tendency for fragmented, interchangeable and sectional narrative structure is a perfect example of "the death of narrative cinema."

i'm about to start a film MA and would find it very interesting to hear why "the death of narrative cinema" is a bad thing in your opinion.

lastly, instead of the "death", isn't the "decline" a better word. clint eastwood is still making excellent/popular narrative cinema afterall.

(feel free to talk about master narratives, post-modernism etc)

Reviews: In the Loop & Let the Right One In 12:42pm on 14 Apr 2009 i know a lot of people are a bit snobbish about horror/horror-type films but at the same time i think YOU are too quick to lord over some.

example:

'let the right one in' is pretty good if not just plain good. HOWEVER it is also an example of a film which should loose 20 minutes and add an exploding helicopter if ever i saw one. well maybe not the helicopter.

There was a film about a kid meeting one of the last surviving crew members of 'Citizen Kane' which sounded really interesting but i forgot the title. PLEASE HELP.
