RBS board to quit if chancellor vetoes £1.5bn in bonuses 4:26pm on 02 Dec 2009 Bonuses ---- no way,
until we the tax payer have been paid back !!!
Bosses' pay and WPP 10:21am on 02 Jun 2009 All the more reason not to have a private pension. The pension fund managers are obviously not capable of effectively managing our pension investments !!!
As a director / owner of a small business my income is directly related to the financial performance of the business and I wish this was the case for larger businesses.
Facebook is Five 12:33pm on 04 Feb 2009 I was sceptical of facebook initially, but I now use it daily as a way of finding out what is going on (events) and networking (groups). Through it I have made wonderful friends in real life.
Facebook works because it does what is does very well, without overloading users with advertising and long may that continue.
When care is inadequate 09:34am on 20 Nov 2008 I have a Vulnerable Young Person in my care at the moment and I am surprised at the lack of support and training available. I have experience from my own children but caring is a different kind of relationship and it has caused problems for both of us, even though she is really grateful for me taking her in.
I've also struggled to persuade her to stay in the educational system to get the qualifications she needs to live an independent life in future. I have the impression that the college just see her as a cash cow, not a young person to be developed and nurtured.
