Pubs aren't dying - they are evolving 8:29pm on 01 Aug 2009 So the only solution to keep everybody happy is to have smoking and non-smoking pubs or separate areas in pubs with good ventilation.
Pubs aren't dying - they are evolving 08:20am on 01 Aug 2009 Since the smoking ban the majority of smokers are going out less to restaurants and pubs. Pubs have started selling meals to attract people who like a meal and now restaurants are getting alcohol licences in an effort to keep their customers. Pubs and restaurants are fighting one an other for the few that are still going out.
Hard-core smokers 12:43pm on 29 Jul 2009 Isn't it strange that the smoking rate has decreased and the obesity rate has increased. Obesity is now the biggest health problem in the UK.
Heating grants - do you recommend them? 7:19pm on 20 Nov 2008 My son was working for a plumber who installed solar panels. They were getting plenty of work until warm front came along and charged excessive amounts to be registered with them. It appears that only big concerns could afford the vast sums and charge more for the work. My son had to be laid off.
Cancer: Time to change our approach? 7:24pm on 18 Nov 2008 Justin. Have you heard about 'cancer is a fungus' with the cure using bicarbonate of soda? Most pharmaceutical products only kill the top layer, but it is said that bicarbonate of soda kills all of the cancer.
