Button, Barrichello & Vettel: my take on the title rivals 09:44am on 17 Oct 2009 The one British driver not mentioned so far is Hill Senior. Won 2 World Championships, but tends to get overlooked. One thing is for certain, he was certainly better than his son.

As for Hamilton, he is a great-in-waiting. If he continues to drive then he is surely destined to be classed in the top tier, not only of British drivers, but of World ones too.

Button is clearly not as good a driver, but if he wins the title he will deserve it at least as much as 50% of previous winners. But of the 3 in contention, only Vettel has the ability to be a "great".
My team-mates all-star XI 8:41pm on 08 Oct 2009 There's clearly a few personal choices in there - and why not? Even fans make personal choices based on different criteria. Anyway, if you were asked to pick a team of the best people who you ever worked with are you going to pick your best mate or some nobber you couldn't stand, even if he was better?

Still a team that contains a backbone of Friedel - Butcher - Tugay - Larsson, not to mention the underrated greats Bould & Quinn (tall gangly players are inevitably underrated, look at Crouchy), is never going to struggle in the Premiership, let alone the Championship.

It's another case of empty vessels making the most sound.
BBC Sport's fuel-adjusted Singapore GP grid 08:58am on 27 Sep 2009 Surprised that no-one has pointed out another benefit (for him) from Rubens crashing. Vettel in 2nd rather than possibly first. Rubens has to be worrying not only about overtaking Jenson in the Championship, but also fending off Vettel. Given he had to take a 5 place penalty, and given that the Brawn was not performing in Q2/Q3, it's hard to see how Q3 could have finished much better for Mr Barrichello.
My Singapore Grand Prix predictions 07:57am on 26 Sep 2009 Probably the leading 3 drivers, barring accidents, will be the same as the last race. And if the circuit rewards nursing of tyres then that gives Button an edge. But, given that anyone could be taken out at the first corner, then all you can talk about is probablities.
