Babies are fab aren't they, and they know stuff, right from minute one. They watch and they learn stuff, they suck every little piece of data about you and their surroundings in like black-hole, and just when you think you can have a bit of nap, they do that baby thing- cos they know.

With so much doom and gloom in the world, how about ELO and "The way life's meant to be" for an ARF kick off.

Friends: to have a good friend- you need to be a good friend my friend, and good friends always stab each other in the chest when required. Having plunged the knife as deep as it can go; you can both see it - and pull it out together over a pint/lunch/walk/ or whatever floats your boat.

Some people see finding Mr/Mrs Right, as the road to happiness, but that doesn't work. There is no journey to happiness. Happiness comes to you. Nobody can make you happy - what they can do, is bring out the happiness within you. It's already there- so just be.....

Understand happiness and you will be happy.

In my line of what I do (can't really call it work) I drink a lot of tea- an occupational hazard. :) Every now and again, I throw a double six and say - that's it! No more tea! I try those fruit teas instead - they are truely awful but we pretend to ourselves that they taste ok, and sometimes even manage as many as 3-days without proper tea. My guess is, you'll be back on the hard stuff with 4* milk - (that unleaded milk, is for wussies) by the weekend. You know what they say about friends and Phlegm? ....

It is the mucus that binds us... :)

I note that Barclays reduced their savings rates overnight (last night) by around 1%, presumably in advance of the expected BoE reduction today.
