The general incoherence of your comments tells me that you normally get your news from Fox News, right?
And you have the front to complain that the BBC is biased?! Like all right wingers you are all for bias and distortion when it comes from your side, but if you detect what you suspect is the same coming from the other side we get this pathetic whining about "the liberal media" bias.

I actually feel sorry for your ignorance. It must be hell to be that dumb.

As for this interview: This was a guy approached on the street who expressed his thoughts in his own words. All the BBC have done is report them.
Try to get your confused mind to explain to me how that is different from what happened with the GOPs favourite son, Joe-the-not-really-a-plumber-but-would-like-to-be-one-day?!

Why the "hooray"? Why be so partisan? I just dont see the reason for adding that comment other than the fact you are supporting McCain and his idiotic running mate.

As I mentioned at the top of this comment, you have done the classic Brit thing and "gone native" since moving to the US. I speak as someone who lived there for a while and I saw it in many other Ex-Pat Brits. They move to the country and get seduced by the big houses, big cars and the low cost of living; this leads them to move to the right and start supporting the "red in tooth and claw" capitalism of the Republicans.

I expected better of you, but I guess even highly paid BBC reporters are not immune to the shallow attractions of living in the good old U-S-of-A.
Europe - ticking time bomb? 10:41pm on 28 Oct 2008 I love it whenever Europe is mentioned and all the right wing lunatics come out of the woodwork. Always gives me a good chuckle!
These people are so far divorced from reality it's untrue.
I actually feel sorry for them - it must be awful to have an outlook on life where you fear the "other" so much that you lose all rationality and lash out to blame them for the entire country's ills. I wonder how they summon the will to get out of bed in the morning when all those nasty foreigners are out there trying to put them down!
As for the post: Anyone with half a brain cell knows that Europe is the weeping scab of the Tory party, and Cameron and his band of toffs will have exactly the same problems with the issue as all the previous leaders. Pointing that simple fact out is not a socialist plot!
