Happy Xmas (War Is Over) 3:28pm on 20 Nov 2008 make a 55% threshold for a voluntary coalition to be formed. then go to the electorate. if two, or more, parties can reach that mark, then voluntary coalition. if not, maintain d'hondt. apply this to each assembly term, therefore allowing for voluntary coalition, and proper opposition, and if it's not possible, mandatory coalition is the back-up plan. probably too much like common sense though

Adams and the Afrikaners 11:30pm on 13 Nov 2008 Adam's comments show up his real feelings on the unionist people - as outsiders who don't belong. My views on Adams? That he represents the Milosevic/Karadzic wing of nationalism. The man is a compulsive liar. Right enough, if my past was as bloody and shameful as his, I might want to cover it up.
