So, when you're holding a soiree in Hamsptead then Saga... isnt it custom for your guests to bring a bottle with them as well? Or at least a bunch of flowers?

Rather that than just a plastic shopping bag of empty tins with a couple of half-bricks in the bottom of the bag and they then procede to not only drink your cellar dry of your best Puligny-Montrachet but also claim squatters rights, puke on the floor as well and refuse to fund their own taxi when you declare that the party's over?

Or is it open season at your mothers place?

I did say the other day "there MAY be a case to answer". From what I saw on the Daily Politics site and on Newnight with Balls wriggling like a lizard in a tin, it seemed that the matter was a technicality, as to where the funding came from, but it appears that no-one is disputing the connection between ISF and H-U-T.

Funny, the headmistress in Slough admitted her membership of the organisation on Newsnight, but refused to go into detail about it, on camera.

I still stand by what I've said about this exchange three days ago.

1) It was a waste of a parliamentary question which in all honesty, Cameron could and should have used for far more important matters

2) Faith schools, while having their place for now, should not be funded by the public full stop, the religions themselves have plenty enough money to spread the word of their chosen deity. Regardless of whether they're fronted by an organisation that has dodgy links in the middle east.

3) If it had been a BNP headmaster or Governor, those on the left would have been up in arms. But because it has islamic connections, they all run away terrified waving the race card.

And considering how much misleading of both parliament and public that this administration has indulged in since 1997, I feel slightly less aggreived at a shadow leader who admits a mistake within 24 hours than a government that not only continues to obfuscate, lie and evade, but was also in bed with the US Neocons for virtually every single day of every single parliament since they were elected in 1997. I wouldnt crow too loudly if I were you.

Not always angry just cynical... :-)

I'm not sure we have much of an urban lion population, tipping over wheelie bins and the such like in search of food... mind you, it'd keep some of the less desirables off the streets wouldnt it? In the shadows, pushing a few drugs and ol' Leo the lion wanders across the street for a quick snack... Hmmm....

**Wonders if it could be sanctioned to be tried out in Liverpool or Peckham?**

Its a run down, grey, drab concreted over, faceless, post-industrial wasteland, a halfway point between London and Reading, where domestic properties within 1mile of the town centre have external bars on the windows.

Despite its local population being from all over the world, it has no colour, no vibrancy, no soul.

In short, it is, I regret to say, a dump. A decaying industrial estate with residential housing built around it. As Kingloneranger says, if you head out of town a bit further towards Reading and into Berkshire, or North towards Buckinghamshire, or south towards Surrey - you'll notice a vast difference. Try it sometime, you might be very pleasantly surprised.
