The black hole deepens 4:28pm on 20 Aug 2009 If, as you will all no doubt remember we are the Country best placed to face this recession and we produce figures like this, the rest of the world must be cr4pping themselves. Apart from Canada, Australia, Japan, France and Germany obviously, but apparently they don't count, in the we are the country best placed quote because that would make Gordon look like he may have told a few fibs about the true state of our economy.
The PM uses the 'C' word: 'Cuts' 10:24pm on 01 Jul 2009 While Brown was busily telling you that he was not a liar. He was in fact telling you another lie. From the spectator blog
"Brown was interrupted he said he meant to say 0.7% but was cut off after zero. As if. When it was pointed out to him that Brown said zero percent rise in 2013/14, and wasnt interrupted at all,"
So Nick will you be taking him to task for lying to you, directly to your face, will you?

This site is becoming unusable due to the delay in moderation. it is about time that serious consideration was given to after the fact moderation publish comments real time, delete those that fall foul of the rules. it is impossible to set up any dialogue with this current system.

Beware the City merry-go-round 12:25pm on 12 Feb 2009 It takes so long for comments to be moderated on here it makes it virtually impossible to have any meaningful dialogue. Never mind, obviously the moderation crunch started in America and then devastated the moderation of boards in the UK. If we all work together we can develop effective moderation which will get us back on track.

Don't forget you can roll it in glitter as Mandelson and Campbell have been doing for some months. It is still a turd but it does have a superficial appeal until somone reveals what really lies below the glitter.

Another episode of fiddled figures on youth offending (not adding those who recieved fines).
Next managment saying VAT cut was pointless
Sainsbury's management saying VAT cut was pointless.
Frank Field saying VAT cut was stupid and essentially endorsing the Tory policy.
Yes I can see how Nick is struggling for subject matter.
2008: The Brown rollercoaster 10:34pm on 19 Dec 2008 glanafon, its an example of what the country SHOULD have been doing under the less than watchful eye of Mr Brown. Matching outgoings with incomings. Mr Brown assures us he has no intention of holding an election soon, so why keep on staff to fight an election he does not have the courage to announce.
