Life in the treatment room 2:15pm on 29 Oct 2009 Michael.. my team (Celtic) is going through one of they times when it is ridiculously labelled a 'crisis'

Basically we have had a couple of bad performances coupled with a few unlucky ones which has led to a dip in form...

Tony Mowbray is getting it from all corners just now (unfairly).. in your experience how does this affect a dressing room.. the papers are full of stories about the players having to take responsibility etc.. what happens in dressing rooms when these stories start?

Hansen is a good pundit.. looks a bit pleased with himself a bit too much but at least he doesn't pull faces like Garth Crooks.. I do wish Gavin Peacock would come back.. he was superb.

Thats a good story about Reid though... I think you are right in saying not a lot of gaffers would do that kind of thing anyore which is a shame.

Hiddink's Russian revolution still on track 08:25am on 13 Oct 2009 To be fair the players they have playing for them now are better than the squad they had in the late 90's/early 2000's....

The money that has been pumped into Russian club football for the last few years, albeit on costly foreigners mostly, must also help a lot. This will improve facilities and standard of play etc..

I personally think the seeding of teams is a joke... you say Fifa have only just got it sorted and about time too..?? Does this maybe have something to do with waiting to see who was in the qualifiers?
Tangled in the Web 2:21pm on 12 Oct 2009 I cant stand Heskey.. the guy is massive and goes down more than Drogba.. If you dont believe me watch him the next time he actually gets a game somewhere... Only striker who gets plaudits for not scoring goals..!!

Maradona singing in the rain 2:11pm on 12 Oct 2009 Steveat... Keegan was never a good manager.. he has always had a lot of money to spend on these 3 teams he has had promoted... people are also saying he admitted his shortcomings and walked away... others would say bottled it..

apologies for the off topic bit but I dont like how this guy still gets plaudits for ditching clubs like he has.. he has just taken 2mil off Newcastle and he apparently 'loves' them...

Funny how Maradonna makes strange tactical decisions but when they have won we are told in hushed whispers that 'you dont really think it's him picking the team do you'.... Hope they manage it.
