Will Obama be cool or warm? 10:04pm on 07 Oct 2008 To say that homeownership among the poor was at the heart of the market deregulation is an incredibly overblown and ignorant statement. Sub prime mortgage lenders preyed on the hopes of the poor and minorities who had little or no experience in the mortgage market. Did these mortgage lenders do this out of the kindness of their hearts? I don't think so.

Just because you're following the Republican candidate on the campaign trail doesn't mean you have to drink the Kool Aid.
