Anti-Glasgow? 5:51pm on 18 Sep 2009 The linking of the cancelling of the rail link with the Commonwealth games as if this will cause the games problems is wrong. This link would take the athletes to the centre of Glasgow still miles from the main site. By the time of the Games the M74 extension will be open. This has 2 junction close to the main Games site and the fastest way from the Airport will be by coach along this road.
Have all these comments something to do with an upcoming election?
BT and the iPlayer 4:21pm on 10 Jun 2009 The problem is that the ISPs to build market share sold "unlimited" download offers then found people took that literaly. If they charged by the GByte heavy usage would give them money to invest in infrastructure. Someone is going to have to be the first to do this or the internet will grind to a halt

In the scottish election in 2007 we used optical scanned paper ballots to elect parliament and local councils. There was high numbers of rejected papers.
This led to enquiries,discussions in UK and Scottish parliaments and changes in how elections will be run.
Why in the US are federal, state and local elections all run on the same days. On result of the Scottish happening was that the local elections are to be run separately.
Ray Ozzie and the business of clouds 5:00pm on 28 Oct 2008 This is all very well but you still need a PC with Windows and it's frequent updates to access the cloud.
Until someone brings out a stable, safe and cheap thin client this still has the same problem of having to update your access device
