Liverpool walks on 10:06am on 23 Jun 2009 What is really concerning for our beloved club now is taht it is owned and controllled by two carpetbeggars,who are now beholding to the RBS bank who has been run like a printing machine for worthless notes,no doubt there will be a massive fee and margin charged for this refianancing which will eat into the monies available for the club to compete at the top level once they stop competing and the source of cash drys up is when our club goes into freefall
Cleaning up bankers' mess 12:41pm on 01 May 2009 The problem today 12 months after the real mess became apparaent is that the the banks are now making a bigger mess by their attidude, they current incumbernts of these banks have only one thought in their mind is to at the expense of the british public the taxpayer repair their balance sheets get massive bonuses which they will in 3 years get their knighthoods and retire with a big pension, but the thing is why shouldnt they, they are getting away with it, time for the british public to revolt agaginst their actions take the rbs in a dire mess they have lent the liverpool owners £350m this could be repaid tomorrow if the rbs the owners, take then a small retailer who needs £250k to keep going employing 5 of a staff what do the bank do? they stop their credit, now these two cases are only an example of how badly the banks are being run its all for self motivation, but as i said good luck to the guys who are running the banks they are getting away with this behaviour goodwin is making a laughing stock out of the british public he keeps his £700k a year and his knighthood, why would the current people do anything different?
G20: Sticking plaster not cure 12:57pm on 01 Apr 2009 Robert as you know and i appreciste you disagree with my theory what the banks are doing now that they have got their bailouts in being smug and putting even more pressure on good business which are unnecessarily being forced to bankruptcy,all they are interested in is repairing their balance sheets so that in a few years they can justify paying thmselves lots of big bonuses again believe me Robert a senior banker has more or less confirmed this to me.What is needed Robert is for the Goverment to appoint Sir Digby Jones,Richard Branson,Michael O Leary and Sir Alan Sugar to the boards of these banks with two briefs 1st to get the banks to start lending some of the billions they have received to businees which are fundamentaly sound but have cash flow difficulty and 2nd to get rid of the public schoolboy culture from these banks.When Robert is someone going to stand up and say that banks are only 1 off the tools needed to keep the economy flowing they are not and never will be the economy,they need to realise this Goodwin thought he was god he wasnt and we have got to tell these Braces bridage they are not important in building the economy they are only a tool
Are Barclays' profits irrelevant? 10:33am on 09 Feb 2009 Once again Robert this bank together with their auditors are telling lies their provisons of 8b are understated by at least the same again and more likely 10b when are these obnoxious institutions going to be taught a real lesson.With regards the proposed RBS bonus payments these people are now civil servants send them out to deal with the raod gritting problem on second thoughts dont they would only spread the grit on roads that didnt need it,now if they have 1b to spare on bonuses this 1b should be lent now to small business
Bonus buck stops with Brown 3:18pm on 06 Feb 2009 Robert this is a stupid debate as part owner of the RBS i want to see a proposed payment sheet for these bonuses then w ecan decide can you provide please and we as a nation will either sign it off or not,also Robert i want to know why the RBS extened the loan to two carpetbeggars who owe them £350m when this loan should have bben asked to have been repaid surley this money could have then been lent to keep alot of small profitable business going incresing vat and tax receipts,why Robt is people not using their heads and leaving their feet to dance with we can all get through this with people thinking outside the box this cant be done by the traditional bankers,civil servants or MPs there needs to be a group set up of ordibarly decent hard working people to sort this mess out,im proposing a national goverment for two years and a group headed by Richard Branson to sort the mess out,but dont forget Robert to get the proposed bonus payments of the bank we all own
We've lent £185bn to banks 3:26pm on 03 Feb 2009 And Robert every penny of that £185billion has been wasted.Robert when is somebody going to start running the banks in a proper fashion yes it was reckless behaviour on the banks part that got us inti this state but its even more reckless for them to be allowed to do what they are doing now,these guys have no idea how the real world works yet they are given this money blindly can you imagine how many jobs that would have been saved if business had got even £90 billion Robert why doesnt one of them be let go to the wall off course deposites will be protected but it would waken up the rest of the dosy lot and force them to come clean and while im still on my soapbox when is Goodwins Knighthood going to be stripped of him,after all Lester Piggott who done the taxman for less that 1m lost his and got Jail time for these bankers to be made repay the vast sums they got in the good years falsely as it turned out
Faith in banks 4:24pm on 20 Jan 2009 Robert i would like you or some other contributors to answer me something, where excactly is the trillions of dollars/pounds/euros gone?. So i buy something of you for 1billion lent to me by the bank,this asset is in fact only worth 1m so myself and the bank are in trouble i accept that but where has the 1billion gone i paid you? even if you spent that 1billion buying 5 billion of assets 4 of which was borrowed from a bank and these assets are only worth 1billion both the bank and you have a problem but what about the person who got the 5billion,my point here Robert is surely at the end of the day somebody somewhere is laughing all the way to paradise,is this true or asm i missing something?
Does the Bank Rate matter? 3:02pm on 08 Jan 2009 The banks reckless behaviour helped cause this problem their reckless behaviour now in cutting credit is making a bad situtation much worse.One has to ask one self are the people who run these banks acdemics? accountants? business people? civil servants? downright thickos? or puppets.As we all know everyone or almost everyone in the country waste water and burn to much electricity,Just imagaine what would happen if all running water or electricity was turned off today well what is happenning at banks is that they have lent vast fortunes of money now the only the way that there is any chance of this or part of it being repaid is for the companies and individuals to be allowed the time and working capital to allow that money to be repaid but what do the great fools in the banks do they cut off the working capital to be quite honest if these people had brains they would be dangerous
Made off with all our money 5:11pm on 19 Dec 2008 Robert ive been saying from september on here that banks and financial institutions are rotten to the core.Just look at Sean Fitzpatrick ex chaiman of anglo irish who resigned last night for having loans of €87m yes 87million and what he done was when the auditors were coming in he borrowed this ammount from another irish bank and paid it off and when they left reinstated this loan and repaid the other bank,now hes not the only one whos been at this so first i wonder has there been an arrangment fee every time he done this? and also what sort of margin was he charged on these loans? what did he use the money for? was he competing in property against the people he was lending to? now robert this same guy before he and his other mates from irish banks crept to the irish goverment in the dead of night for a gurantee bought a load of shares then low and behold the shares jumped in value when the annoucement was made so i ask you robert is this legitmate dealings for the chairman of any institution?
2009 is payback year 11:18am on 15 Dec 2008 What a joke £400m lost by the RBS in a fraudlent investment and the former chief excutive walked away with an 8m pension pot instead of facing a prison sentence this is what really is wrong in this whole mess people who created false paper profits are rewarded while the core industries are left to suffer.Clso these god dam rotten financial institutions down today and go back to basics its really quite simple a profit is only a profit when the money from it is in the pockets of the investors and also i would say to the rotten financial institutions that a loss is only a loss when the shortfall is realised
