Daylight Droggery! 4:57pm on 07 May 2009 you could not help but feel sorry for Chelsea whenthe Barca winner went in .
But thankfully the behaviour of the Chelsea players -JT ,FL ,Ballack and Especially Drogba at the final whistle washed away any feelings of sympathy.

Multi-skilling's the name of the game 2:32pm on 30 Mar 2009 The comments area should be an area to discuss the content of this weeks blog ,not the weekly rant of jealousy from wannabe's.
If it upsets you so, write a letter to Anne Robinson (assuming that show is still going )and complain but leave the comments area here to discuss the content.

I for one think Robbo's blog is a hoot and find much other output on the beeb a chore to read/watch you don't find me chasing the cast of eastenders around London shouting how crap they are at them ?

Cruel dig at (the real)Ronaldo -though he is still possibly the greatest striker in history and if he can score those comeback goals for corinthians while doing a good impression of Sumo Quinn ,I think he could make a comeback for Brazil when he gets the weight under control.

Also at #15 Rory D actually was an under age javelin champion I believe

The alternative Six Nations awards 5:38pm on 25 Mar 2009 Best match Wales v Ireland edges Ireland v France and France v Wales

Best player got give it to BOD,its not often you see a captain be so influential in a teams victory ,wheter it be immense tackles in defence or the try's that where the difference in close matches.

Best team for the future - controversially i am going to say France ,the have a mad man for a coach but in the 59 players we have seen turn out for France i think there is a great 15 in there

Worst team for the future- Scotland and Italy look a little lost and left behind by the rest these days.

Most over expectant fans -England -they where never looked like beating Ireland and several missed kicks from ROG and an against the run of play late try for England made the score closer than the actual match was.They got every bounce of the ball and ref decision against France ,and Wales never changed the point of attack despite from about 30 mins in Worsley having sewn up the inside channel run.
Flutey and Armitage looked good for the future but outside of those two I didnt care for any other English player.I expect another 2- 3 defeats for that English squad in next years championship even with a manager who got it tactaly right more than wrong in Big Martin.

Best Tackle-the try saver from Kearney against Scotland or the knocking Chabal into next week by the Welsh come close to that Monster french centre tackle on Lee Byrne

Best comeback- Worsley just ahead of Stringers match against Scotland

Best Crowd reaction -Big Martins thumping the chair in front of him after the 2nd sin bin agasint Ireland-priceless

Biggest Tool -toss up between Gatland (a great coach but not a great person)and Henson (even his own team smile when he gets a hard hit )

Best new idea- I loved Friday night rugby and it was cracking game to get us into it as well

John Hayes is not a good enough Prop to make the squad even if he plays with more heart than any of the other up for contention
Darcy has been injured for over a year this is why he is not in the squad.Not a great game for lenister 2 weeks ago but i still think he will come in for wallace against the Scots.

How to possibly end this argument ?
its time to bring back superstars ,and use real superstars not folks who retired 5 years ago.
