These bunch of Labour cowards had their chance to get rid of him, call an election and mitigate some of the damage to our country, but no they chose to stand by their man.
They'll get what's coming to them and if HH truly gets the top job, then Labour can say goodbye to power for 20 years.

I think you would be right if Michael Howard had won in 2005. But the amount of damage done by Labour in 13 years will be retold in history books and will certainly not be forgotten in one term.

If the PM is hurt by debates on his integrity, then it really is tough. Him and his party are guilty of quite amazing treachery. There are lots of examples but the ultimate betrayal has to be the ratification of the Lisbon treaty with no vote from the British people. Labour promised the public a say and then didn't give them one in case they returned the wrong decision. That is absolute and can not be explained any other way.

You're right about the honesty issue. Come the vote you can either have a Tory government that might lie, or a Labour government that has unequivocally lied.

This guy announces an unprecedented delay to the spending review - thereby stopping us from seeing how Labour have done their sums with regard to spending plans - and now its another day in la la land, Labour expects us to have forgotten all that and now the nasty Tories are telling porkies.

Nick I know you risk losing your status and sources if you actually start calling Labour for what they are, but do you really have to wrap yourself in their colours. Can you at least stay...neutral?

It may seem to suit a lot of people to have less responsibility in their jobs Mr Peston. But if that's what suits them, then they get the hell out of the job.
If our police, firefighters, paramedics etc. ducked the nasty stuff IN CASE the outcome were to go bad, you and I would have more pressing worries.
