Unhelpful messages 3:08pm on 25 Oct 2008 Government can and should serve a beneficial purpose. Government is not intrinsically bad nor good. The question is how best can a government serve its citizens? That is what campaigns are generally about. The big question now is, do we want to keep the tax burden on middle class or shift it more toward the wealthy? We have learned the hard way that trickle-down economics does not work because of a little human factor called greed and even Greenspan finally had to admit, deregulation was a bad idea for the same reason. Unfortunately he discovered the error of his policies a bit late. McCain still favors the wealthy and trickle down. America parted from British rule because of class disparity back in the day. We seem to have created it for ourselves again. I think Obama understands this. I don't think McCain does.
Unhelpful messages 03:12am on 25 Oct 2008 This is just one more example of contradiction hidden skeletons of the GOP candidate. Pinochet was considered to be a cruel and ruthless dictator. I really hope this is brought up on primetime. If the GOP candidate wants to talk about moral judgment people should know about this. As for Rush Limbaugh, is he still claiming the Clintons are going to vote for McCain? Voter privacy in the U.S. is protected by law. If he possesses a methodology to obtain knowledge as to how people vote he should be investigated by the feds. Otherwise he should shut up. How does anyone take his blabber seriously?
Why poll numbers vary 6:00pm on 23 Oct 2008 The Bush policies and the deregulated wall street glee. My friends and I used to talk almost every day over lunch about both. We saw years ago that the economy was going to collapse because the abusive and greedy nature of the bankers was apparent. It's been obvious that wall street and Washington were in a wink wink partnership. Also, all you have to do is look at human nature. When there is nothing to stop the greedy people it's not difficult to know what the outcome will be.

McCain/Palin are scary on many levels...too many to mention here but they've been pointed out 10,000 times across the internet and television news.
Debate expectations 04:33am on 01 Oct 2008 Thus far the only thing Palin has brought to the ticket was the initial excitement McCain backers felt because he picked a woman. She's been confused and unintelligible the few times she has actually answered a question. She loves hunting but sure did look like a deer caught in headlights while trying to answer Katie Curic's rather straightforward questions. As for her religious background...before a previous election she ran in Alaska, she went to a pastor for him to pray that demons would stay away from her and allow her to win the election. If that isn't 12th century religion I don't know what is. Who were the demons? People who were not planning on voting for her? Isn't that election tampering?
