Would Palin have done better? 09:54am on 19 Mar 2009 How can any person with even limited IQ consider sp as any type of political candidate. She demonstated stupidity and ignorance during the campaign and I feel certain too many Americans were afraid she would be too close to the presidency. Mc deserved to lose for selecting her as his running mate. It seems Americans are much more wary after 8 years of stupidity in the white house.
Obama shackled by debt 12:10pm on 05 Nov 2008 I watched Mccain's consession speech. If anyone doubted he would have been a bush clone listen to his speech his pace and delievry sounded exactly like bush. But he gave a very gracious congratulation.
Too 'European' 08:15am on 03 Nov 2008 Why is it that a very large number of Americans are closet bigots? Why is owning a gun so important. Why is critisizing your government so unpartriotic? Many people, Dems or Reps will not vote for Obama because he is black. Let us hope there are enough intelligent people left to steer the US away from the bush cheney mccain regime that have caused the worst financial world meltdown by encouraging and rewarding greed. It is time the middle class wakes up.

42 and 44? 6:29pm on 01 Nov 2008 Most Americans still feel the election is close? Why, Obama is well ahead in almost every creditable poll, 11% in Gallup probably the most respected polling company. There is still a lot of concern if Americans can choose the best candidate if he is black. bush and republicans have ruined world opinion of the US and now another bush is trying to get elected. This would be funny if didn't affect the rest of the world so intimately. How can a nation that re-elected a warmonger and obvious financial idiot consider another republican with similar worldview to run their country. Obviously the opinion of the rest of the world is unimportant.
Nervous final days 4:50pm on 01 Nov 2008 Much as it has been down played race will probably sill be a determiner in the election. Can Americans overcome their bigotry? People utside the US see clearly a better man in Obama. There shouldn't be any possibility of another bush republican getting anywhere near the white house. If the democrats had a capable whitte man this would be no contest, now we wait for November 4th and hope Obama gets elected.
No wiggle room 09:18am on 31 Oct 2008 This blog demonstrates that loyal (stupid republicans) will vote the mccain sp ticket no matter what lies or silly tactics they use. sp is being described as a whack job by her own advisors, what does that tell you.
The BBC is only reporting what happens on the campaign trail and if it makes the gop look ineffective and desparate that is not their fault. Gop realists can see the results of a bad campaign with a very poor choice of running mate.
Look at education history, sp had to go to 5 different schools to graduate as a journalist BA. Did she keep switching to find a school with lax enough standards that she could graduate from. mccain was 795th in a classs of 800.Obama is aHarvard grad and was president of the Law Review.
Who do you think is better educated? We can't even discuss realative intelligence.
America needs its best to govern not it's folksiest (wink,wink).
Last-minute changes 06:58am on 30 Oct 2008 October surprise if there is one will be another stupid lie. If mccain's campaign had anything real they would have used it already. The election polls are close only because many white Americans are afraid to support a superior man if he is black.
Reagan, Clinton, W, and Obama 11:07am on 27 Oct 2008 Has anybody read Cnn blogs lately? Most Americans that support mclame sp can't write grammmatically or spell correctly. This seems to a sign of the level of intelligence of gop diehards.
Hate rallies encouraging people of low intelligence to violence reminds people who read history of Germany in the 30ties.
A gifted orator who speaks truthfully or a senile bumbler who tells lie after lie, and shows his ineptitude by choosing an idiot for a running mate -- Americans you choose.
Reagan, Clinton, W, and Obama 08:58am on 27 Oct 2008 Obama is a stirring speaker who gets his points across clearly.
Macain often stumbles and mispeaks. He needs a teleprompter and can't even read it properly.
Europe has choosen Obama as the candidate they would rather deal with because he also is not a warmonger like macain.
