Prime ministerial performance? 1:52pm on 30 Sep 2008 What is important is - should the financial market (meaning us) plumb the depth quickly so we can think of growth sooner or have slow torture with the proposed US $700bn bail out going through in some form. Tories and the Labour both do not have a clue. Cameron is a jolly faced guy but with out any susbstance. Tories/Cameron look attractive by default. They should give credit where it is due and hail Gordon Brown as the saviour of Tories.
Life change for Kelly 12:32pm on 24 Sep 2008 Perhaps she could not be trusted with the nappies when the children were toddlers and so she was sent to fumble/stumble with policies etc. Now that the children are at and age where she can't do much harm - she is back at home. No such luck for ordinary folks like us.
The next accident 1:09pm on 23 Sep 2008 This (credit crrrrunnnch) was waiting to happen for about 3 years. When the going was good no one wanted to bell the cat. The banking industry did not want to act as it was making money, the future was not their worry, JUST BONUSES. The stock market is least bothered about the fundamentals of what passes through it and so can not be expected to act. The government (let's talk about UK only) with the clunking fist BROOOOON in charge could not act as it not have a clue.

Above all, it was the press which put BROON on a pedestral even when it was blindingly obvious that all the BROOON initiatives were failing.
Fickle business 12:41pm on 17 Sep 2008 Labour ministers know that they have to face an election if they change leader again. Face election; they are in for a rout. So, why not enjoy the ministerial previleges for another 2 years nad then face the same rout. Well, in 2 years a lot can happen and even a miracle - THAT MUST BE THE LABOUR CABINET THOUGHT PROCESS.
