Nick Griffin on Question Time 08:40am on 26 Oct 2009 Yet another nail in the coffin of the once great BBC. The BBC has become the news these days with Ross/ Brand,rip off quizes and contests, strictly come racist comments, kangaroo court for Carol T, expenses, vastly overpaid and underworked staff, musceling in on the private sector etc. Now this disgraceful biased episode designed to ridicule and bully an elected politician. So much for neutrality with the audience and panel loaded full of non white and no working class faces. In fact the audience and panel was loaded full of guardianistas and BBC lefties. And then Mr Dim-bleby. I wonder how much this family has creamed off the TV poll tax licensepayer over the years with his father and brother thriving in this environment of nepotism for the elite and the establishment? Sorry to me and many others this episode shows the BBC up for what it5 really is and why it must go. I for one will not pay for the corruption that it pervades to so on any longer,

BBC proved a point of the BNP and shot itself in the foot. The audience, panel, host and questioners were not representative of the poor white working class dissafected who are not represented by the mainstream parties and media and are disenfrachised. In fact as always with the BBC there appeared to be a strong bias towards the establishment, left wing, pro immigration, pro EU, London centric and those buying into a multicultural society. These peope are bound to hate the BNP because they have so much to lose by them gaining popularity and so many of them including the BBC have their noses in the trough. They are also the very people who hate the uneducated white working class, who are persecuted by the mainstream. BBC News 24 also had a strong bias of commentators of such an ilk which I could not believe. In fact the BBC by their ineptitude has once again proved a point to those who remain attracted to the BNP and will no doubt increase their popularity.

The fact is this guy has been given and easy ride by the media and the public and the first sign of doubt about his policies, principles and theories and it is all put down to racism by that numpty Carter (lets face it him time in office wasn't that good). Lazy and convenient argument put forward by inept liberals to cover up for the fact that BO isn't really much good. Gullible media such as the lefty BBC give time to this garbage. I have visited US lots of time and each time I a struck but how non WASPs were unpleasant towards me and how helpful the WASPs were to me, particularly on a couple ot trips when I, a white Scottish male, was accompanied by a black female girlfriend and one trip was even to North Carolina. This said a lot to me about the USA.
There's always one 12:46pm on 09 Jul 2009 At least Councils disclose this information in the accounts and we can inspect their accounts. Also if we don't like what the cllrs do we can vote them out. But what of the BBC then Mr Rosenbaum we can't do this and whats more we can't vote you or the Trust out. The usual smears from the hypocrites at the Beeb which is funded by a poll tax and where we don't know what they all get paid. Also they have to justify tax increases unlike the BBC which gets an automatic increase despite near zero inflation. Also in local government there is a proper indepdendent audit - not so at the BBC which is not subject to NAO review but is audited bvy the ex employer of the CFO. Where's the accountability there then? The real scandal is the BBC not local government.

Totally agree with ianwrightorbendtner and Natbankofunganda. Good to see some sensible posts. The other posts are just completely full of nerdy, meaningless tripe spouted by the usual capitalist, globalised automatons who believe all this garbage about football being the bloodly stock market and not a cultural thing. Needless to say its the media that encourage this sort of tripe as they all feed off it. Would be good if we could have a debate about this rather than the usual bland nonsese from BBC sport.

Personally I along with many others are turned off attending football matches now. Bland, dull all seated stadiums, miles from the pitch, miles from the centre of town, which all look the same, which cost a fortune to get into and to get any refreshment. No wonder the masses in SA are turned off going to games. What was once a working class sport is now the game of the elite and the middle classes, the media and the aristocracy which run the game and play it.They have ruined it. Personally I would rather have grotty old stadiums in the middle of a council scheme with masses of terracing, cinders and sleepers and with used cans of lager for urinals. The real people in the terracing (soaked to the skin) and the snobs in the stand. A game at Hampden Park in the 70's with a 100,000 against the Auld Enemy - now that it is football in a great setting for the masses. Pies and a bit of bother after the game and on the pitch - I have great memories of a windae smashed and a bottle thrown in Paisley when the Ton were in town. Sadly this was put paid to by all the lily livered middle classes with their health and safety, lets destroy and santise the game, lets make it a business, so we can bring the privately educated children and Mrs along, just like rugger at twickers. Oh and lets support Man Utd even although we come from Guildford just cos they always win everything and not the local team cos their in the Rymans an crap. And let share stadiums with the rugger snobs. Sadly this crassness is pervaded by the media. Football is now alien to me and millions of others - we have been disenfrachised by this load of numpties who run the game. Seems that most of the contributors to this have been brainwashed by this big business nonsense as well. The reality is their is no heart in the game anymore its just an extension of capitalism and a disenfrancisement of the working classes. They've taken away heavy industry and now they've taken away football - no wonder the working classes are almost extinct now and have just become neds and chavs.
Would you claim MPs' expenses? 12:44pm on 22 May 2009 Oh so they allow me to post the last statement - fact Lyons claimed £890 for a TV. Fact Thompson gets £800k a year, 500 employees over £100k, Ross millions, Norton millions, Gracie £92k. Fact there were more BBC employees on expenses at the Olympics than there were in the UK team, Fact BBC staff claim first class air fares. Fact there are a large number of related people employed at the BBC. Fact the BBC is funded by a regressive tax just for owning a TV. Now the BBC criticises the MPs for all the same things and yet when Cameron tries to freeze their TV tax its political interference. Pot calling kettle black.
Would you claim MPs' expenses? 12:25pm on 22 May 2009 Right I've read the house rules and I aint broke them so whats the problem then? Am I not allowed to criticise the BBC then? And yet the BBC can criticise MPs - gosh the BBC really does respect freedom of speech and human rights then. Are the moderators at the BBC trained by the North Koreans?

Let the Audit Commission audit parliament??? Are you sure about this given that they lost significant funds with an Icelandic Bank and then had the audacity to say that local authoritities were negligent, and then backed down on this when the local authorities threated to sue them. Also 30% of their audits are done by the same firms which signed off the banks that went bust. Also their independence is questionable given that the DCLG are their sponsor. I think that you'll find that the NAO already audit parliament already.
What did the PM say? 3:24pm on 18 May 2009 just heard that Rantzen wants to stand as an MP like Bell. Sorry I think we should get people in who have done real jobs. As I recall Brown was a journalist before he was an MP, like McShane, Mitchell, Green, Bradshaw etc. Do we really want people who have worked for a dubious organisations like the BBC and funded by a poll tax and who waste money on people like Dross and Wogan and with a similar reputation to Parliament to stand as an MP. No thanks, I will take my chances with those from the real world.
