Cameron standing by his man 5:40pm on 09 Jul 2009 Coulson isn't an MP and cannot be sacked by the electorate, unlike ALL the rotten MP's who will be sacked at the next election whenever dictator Brown calls one.

It would make "extremesense" to jail almost the entire government front bench for bankrupting the country and telling lies at every opportunity wrt Iraq, Ecclestone, doubling of 10 pence tax rate, spiralling house prices, boom and bust, FSA, crime figures, immigration numbers, illegal immigrants, deportation of failed asylum seekers,recession from USA etc. etc.
The PM uses the 'C' word: 'Cuts' 11:01am on 02 Jul 2009 I think you Nick, are finally "GETTING IT". Gordon Brown is incompetent as a PM and was incompetent as a chancellor.

This man has dragged politics into the gutter by ignoring parliament and acting like a dictator, ignoring even his own party members, and more importantly ignoring the wishes of the people of this country.

Mr Brown has been supported for the past 12 years by almost all press and the BBC in particular until the last few months as it is blindingly obvious that he is deluded and most people think in need of medical help.

Perhaps you can move on to ask all the awkward questions now, as mentioned in many comments. The Iraq enquiry farce and involvement with the Iraq war, 1 million people still not compensated from the 10 pence lies, selling of our gold supply cheaply, Lisbon Treaty referendum, failure of education system, failure to tackle crime, setting up the FSA triparteid useless system which failed, allowing house prices to get out of control,losing data from nearly every government department, allowing immigration to get out of control,the Gurkha mess, employing illegal immigrants, letting PFI get out of control and keeping this massive debt 'secret', rewarding all Labour pals including the dubious Mendelson with promotion to the Lords for more taxpayers cash, rewarding Labour pals with quango jobs with massive pay and pensions etc.etc.etc. The list is endless and starts with the million pound Bernie Eccleston bung to the Labour party.

Please Nick, start pressing these points which the public are furious about, more than the expenses fiddles/thefts and encourage your colleagues to do the same, especially Mr Marr of the BBC.
Consulting other parties 5:29pm on 18 Jun 2009 People have very short memories. When almost every Brown supporting MP and quite a few tory MP's, goes on tv and says Sadam had to be removed and the war was/is a good thing, they forget that Tony Blair said just before the war (24 hours) that Sadam could stay as leader if he allowed unlimited access and that removal of the leader was not the purpose of the invasion. I sincerely hope the electorate remember what Labour have done over the past 12 years, and some of the opposition.
This PM and his government are a disgrace to the British people.

Nick, surely you must see the continuous mess ups that this government and PM in particular are making. This is one of the worst judgments the PM has made recently, along with the Gurkhas, 10pence tax rate removal (Still a million low paid waiting for his promise to compensate,including me)etc. I find it hard to believe you still think this discredited government and PM can go on to win the next election.
Speaker hustings 9:05pm on 17 Jun 2009 As long as the next Speaker NEVER lets the idiot Skinner speak again most of the population would vote for them, Planted questions should also be immediately curtailed by the speaker and the most important thing they should say is that it is PM Questions not questions about the opposition !!!! and demand the PM answers the questions, unlike the disgraced Martin.

Gordon Brown did create the banking crisis, by taking the monitoring, regulation and control from the BoE and giving it to his disastrous FSA (full of his pals on big money/pensions etc.)

Gordon Brown did create the Recession, by allowing and encouraging house prices to spiral out of control after promising to never let this happen.

Gordon Brown did create the system in 2004 that allowed for MP expenses to be exploited,by changing the allowance system with the second home fiddles which he and his entire cabinet have used to steal from the public (as well as most of the opposition MP's).

Perhaps post 144 was really Bob Roberts from the mail comments, expressing total devotion to everything Labour has done and continues doing.

As well as a deluded PM who should probably be seeking medical advice, and is detested, Labour are detested because of 10 pence tax rate abolution (which still has disadvantaged 1 million low paid workers who were promised compensation), an EU treaty referendum which was promised in their manifesto, a broken promise that Blair would serve a full 5 year term, ID cards which were not in the manifesto, etc. etc. etc. the list goes on forever. WE want a general election so that we can decide which MP's are sacked, BY US.

The current tory party leaders have not done the despicable things our government have done over the last 12 years; Iraq lies of wmd, ecclestone affair, referendum, 10 pence tax, whiter than white, boom and bust, nepotism, quangos, massive government waste of our money on reviews, mrsa & cdiff, illiterate schoolchildren, increased serious crime, out of control immigration......the list goes on and on without mainly government ministers expenses Smith,McNulty,Balls & Cooper,Hoon,Martin etc. culminating in totally disgusting (yes disgusting)smears on wives of opposition ministers.

There is no reason to doubt the sincerity of David Cameron or Nick Clegg, or the majority of their cabinet members, whereas there is clear evidence of how rotten the present lot are in power.

Please Mark keep pointing out the faults in our government (as well as any opposition party MP faults)

You are both correct.If Nick cannot get over the fact that the party he has snuggled up to whilst all others were pointing out their rotten performance, incompetence and sleaze we the licence payers deserve unbiassed balanced articles to comment on which Mark at least manages to do. I think Nick and Polly T must be enduring one hell of a retraining if they will ever get to interview any tory minister in the future.
Obama-Brown stimulus is a dead duck 2:36pm on 01 Apr 2009 Well done Andrew, for allowing Liam Fox to finish speaking. Normally you are shouted down by loud mouth Labour politicians like McNulty (I don't think he will be on your show anytime soon)and Prescott.

Manners cost nothing and at least tory ministers do not try and shout you down but are polite.

Nice to see Nick (Red) Robinson asking a decent question to Brown & President Obama and yourself starting to criticise this government for a change.
