Where's the 'real' John McCain? 6:49pm on 26 Oct 2008 Palin did not get a raw deal. She might be good enough for Alaska but enought even close to being good enough for the country. Palin did not even know what a VP does. And that is a fact. I am certain the majority of Americans will be happy to send back Palin back to Alaska. She simply is not ready and is not smart enough to know not to speak about things she know nothing about. McCain could have won this election if he would have stuck to his old self and chose someone better as a running mate.
McCain loses it 06:51am on 23 Oct 2008 I had always liked McCain. I really did. Something terribly went wrong when he changed what he was all about for so many years. He apparently must have thought gaining the acceptance of the hardcore GOP elite might be the surest bet to win the presidency. Palin was the absolute wrong choice. I saw his stumbling at today's rally, heard Palin's $150,000 wardrobe fiasco, and the response she gave to the question of what she thought the vp's job is. More than embarrassment, I felt sorry for McCain.

This statement seem to fit McCain perfectly and I believe it is one of many reasons why McCain lost so many supporters. And we now have a Congress women who is supporting the McCain/Palin ticket hinting we need to find out who in congress is pro-America and who is anti-America. Very dangerous indeed!!!! I would think with a Congress women like this and a McCain presidency, I would think our country would face a terrible future.

McCain out of Michigan 10:44am on 03 Oct 2008 Palin was not there to answer the moderators question on policies rather she was there to "speak to the American people". What an joke. We, the American people wanted to hear the candidates debate the issues - not hide under sound bites. It is now more than ever undeniable fact that she knows very little, if any, about the real issues that matters. We can not afford to put Palin in the white house.

I completely agree. It's horryfying. I wonder what her handlers said to her after that interview. May be something like "It's not that bad. We are sure you will say much worse in the days to come ....".
