Reading show there's life after relegation 5:26pm on 10 Feb 2009 Nice one Fletch well written piece it's always nice to see our little club get some credit.

Relegation was horrible but the reason we didn't all end up in a totally suicidal depression afterwards wasn't because we knew we'd go straight back up, in fact that's nowhere near being guaranteed, but it was because we trusted our chairman and had faith that our club would still be in a position to compete, Reading wasn't gonna end up in a free fall because of it.

Reading has never relied on big bux spending, we had the lowest wage bill in the prem less than half the size of the next lowest paying club. But we must be doing something right because we're not a selling club either, players have been comfortable staying even when things get hard. Maybe it's because there's been consistent growth since Madejski came along and players and staff like being apart of it.

If we do get back up this year maybe it'll show other club chairmen that the knee jerk firing of managers is not always the answer.

kevthered83 - with the exception of Sidders it's not only players careers that have taken a dip after leaving the club in recent years how about Pards, and McGhee! maybe someone's been mixing potions somewhere ;)

BO then spent five minutes of his time trying to explain to the fictional plumber earning his make belief $250K+/Year, why it was important that he make a small sacrifice and invest a little more to benefit his country.

All this brouhaha just so they could accuse BO of wanting to redistribute wealth, you know spreading the wealth into roads and hospitals and schools and police and fire services etc.

Sinister robocalls 10:16pm on 17 Oct 2008 It's already backfiring, their lies are already turning off voters, a 92 yr old swing voter, and quite possibly McCain's only potential New Hampshire vote, says he’ll not vote for McCain after hearing the scurrilous robo-lies.

On the one hand you have McCain in the 3rd presidential debate claiming he'll call out any republican that dares to make contentious claims about his opponent, and the next minute the RNC are spending their last pennies smearing his opponent.

The McCain's campaign is about as disorganised as it is dishonest.
Tightening polls 10:07pm on 17 Oct 2008 I don't know understand why the BBC feature a blogger with such rabidly conservative opinons. His observations rarely reflect the reality of this campaign.

Full of untruths, this blog is about as misleading, unoriginal and negative as the McGrumpa campaign itself.
