It must pain you to see Brown eclipsing shallow man Cameron on the issue that really matters.
So can you tell us yet whether you'd be willing for work for Cameron if he became PM?

Will she still debate? 4:53pm on 30 Sep 2008 I too find Palin hilarious and infuriating in equal measure, but let's not lower the bar for her too much. Bush was expected to bomb in his debates during 2000 and 2004, but simply by breathing he managed to confound the critics and voters thought he debated pretty well.
If commentators reduce expectations of Palin's performance too much she could benefit, just as Bush did when we 'misunderestimated' him. As far as Biden is concerned, the danger for him is that he comes across as smart and smug, just as Gore did in 2000. He needs to give Palin enough space and air time to humiliate herself.
One more thing, had the US lost the Ryder Cup last week, George Bush would have become the first man to never have seen a home-side victory during his Presidency. It would have been a fitting tribute to the way he's been leading America.....
California dreaming 3:40pm on 11 Sep 2008 Hey everyone, lay off Jordan. It could just be poor editing that made this student of liberal conservatism appear stupid.

Perhaps she actually said that she was liberal with the way she shared her somewhat economic, nevertheless insightful, conservative fiscal views, and that her words were mixed up in editing.

Then again, perhaps not....
Palin's punches 2:37pm on 04 Sep 2008 Palin is a gift for the Dems.
1. She will galvanize and motivate those who were struggling to get behind Obama, or who saw McCain as a centrist. Gone is the possibility of McCain capturing Regan Democrats and Clinton supporters who see Palin as the antithesis of the Christian right.
2. She is a female version of George Bush in a plethora of ways.
3. She is a liability - being an attack dog when you don't have your own kennel in order is an open invitation for Democrats to chase every last rumour about her
4. The persistent speculation surrounding her most recent child, along with the legal proceedings in Alaska will magnetize the media and distract attention from vulnerabilities in the Obama/Biden camp
5. Americans used to say about Cheney that they were only a heartbeat from a Bush Presidency. If McCain makes it to the White House they'd be a heartbeat from a FemBush Presidency. A terrifying prospect for people wanting change.
6. What does it say about McCain's judgement and leadership? He wanted Lieberman but rolled over for the Evangelical block and cynically picked an inexperienced woman.
