I hope you revisit this experience on its anniversaries and communicate with us again.
I was in Europe in '89,'92. I think very fondly of those memories.
I think it will be much the same for you years from now.

Do keep in touch from time to time, you always have a place in the west.

Fast food nation 07:34am on 13 Oct 2008 Why sweat the fact that America is known for the hamburger/ chicken. It has given a living to millions worldwide.
Everybody knows America has a wide and diverse menu.
People, the success of these foods is something to take pride in. The PC attitude towards some American food is ridiculous. It is all about freedom and choices. Self disipline is the individuals problem.
Carl's Jr. has a good guacamole-bacon burger, check it out!

It is a dirty mix, and its immigrants a tattered frock by their nature.
America is a muckity muck of great artistic accomplishment through its suffering and its'
cultural freeedom. As an American, I find that aspect the most endearing quality of my nation and I think foreigners feel that too.

How did he see the war if he has been in the USA for 8 years?

He should feel a kinship with McCain since they have both shared the experience of torture. I am dissappointed in his support for Obama, I think Rahim should do a little more homework on the two candidates.
Run for your life 3:54pm on 18 Sep 2008 I am of Cree Indian descent of the Turtle Mountain Rez in North Dakota and I am just so tired of this lingering of, " Woe to the Indians for what was done to them, woe to the US government for their oppressive ways. I, like many Natives of the modern age, see and take advantage of the opportunity that is afforded all Americans including Natives. We are free to practice our ways in America and we are also free to be success' like everyone else.

Any Native that harbors resentment to this day belongs in one of the many museums that tax dollars have built

A political bloodbath 05:55am on 17 Sep 2008 This was one of the weaker articles on the trip. Both men had their facts wrong, Traywick falsely claims we have given up on the last 3 wars, when it was only Viet Nam that the Congress turned it's back on.
Fagiss wrongly states that McCain wants to stay in Iraq for one hundred years.
But I have been pleased with most of your work.

The bad guys will always get guns by any means, with no respect to the law. This is what makes them "bad guys."
Any law passed for gun control purposes ONLY affect law abiding citizens.
There are towns in Florida and Texas that require citizens to carry-conceal hand guns and their crime rates are the lowest in the nation.
People of the nations of Europe and in University or High School instituions where free people are forbidden to carry guns, they will always be at the mercy of the lunatic.
Nations that do not trust their law abiding citizens with this responsbility, well.........
