Out of the frying pan... 6:07pm on 08 Sep 2008 Over the past ten years Macedonia have been taking points from "bigger" footballing nations. They are generally a well organised and technically good side.

It wouldn't have been too hard to flick back through the results of the past few qualifying campaigns and see that Macedonia are dangerous and losing to them is by no means embarrassing and should never be mentioned in the same breath as the draw with The Faroe Islands.

A win would have been a fantastic result so how can a narrow defeat where they were denied a clear penalty be an absolute disaster?

His ommission of the word "I" also gave a casual charm to the article. Auqakuh's criticism is quite irrelevant and boring. I'm quite upset that I read so much of it when there are so many other things to read.

He doesn't track back, you could count the amount of tackles he put in last year on one finger - and you may not even have to use your whole finger. He spends a lot of time in the penalty area, take for example his headed goals in the Chelsea and Roma games when he was positioned as a striker would be. He is a striker.

I wouldn't argue with Rooney being classified as a midfielder though.
