Proud of Daley's display 11:23pm on 23 Aug 2008 Having just watched the Olympics coverage today I am slightly confused. I am a patriotic Britain, but am very confused about our standards. There is controversy about the ages of the Chinese Gymnasts, however we have a 14 year competing, and being hyped up in what could be descried as Gymnastics into water (I am also aware of the differences). My main point is why have a min age in one sport and not others. I am not belittling Tom’s achievements it just appears unfair that a talented 14 can compete in one sport and not another.
