Revue: Star Wars, The Clone Wars 9:57pm on 22 Aug 2008 As a father of two I agreed to take my young son to see this movie. I really didn't want to go. You see I was there when Star Wars came out and changed the world forever and none of the recent movies have added positively to my enjoyment of the saga.

But even I was not prepared for what happened. For the first time ever in my life I fell asleep at the movies! Nuff said. Give it up George.
Opinion: IN AMAZING 3D 9:49pm on 22 Aug 2008 Whenever I have been dragged, it takes that to get me there, to a 3D movie I just can't help but giggle. No matter what the subject matter.

But maybe that is just me.
Forgotten Classic: Silent Running 9:41pm on 22 Aug 2008 Couldn't agree more with Mark and the comments posted here. Silent Running has always struck me as a vastly underrated film that bucked the trend in the 70's with it's socially conscious subject matter and the warmth of its central characters. Love to hear more from Dr Kermode about forgotten classics, how about 12 Angry men? Never mentioned in critics top ten films but to my mind one of the greats.
