How news breaks in China 07:57am on 28 Feb 2009 i find BBC and some other so-called objective media are open.

In contrast, if you want to express some sensitive issues on the Chinese forums, they will clear your contributions.
but in BBC, no way.

i just wrote down the truth that Old Summer Palace was looted and burned by the French and british armies.

and pointed out the truth that they had imposed crimes on Chinese people and sabotaged our hunman rights.

i don't say why can't BBC clear my posts.

if they protest peacefully, why don't give them the permission to protest! it's no big deal. dispersing protesters only gives some vicious media or reporters handles. besides, the PRC 's constitution stipulates that people have rights and freedom to protest.

I think our goverment should have confidence in ourself. people demonstrate because they have troubles and difficulties. if they apply legally, if they demonstrate peacefully. it's won't be a threat to the rule of the party. and it would not be an excuse as a card for the west to play when they deal with us any more.

last year, during the olympic games, we set aside three parks for protesters. it turned out that none demonstrations happened.

Did that mean there were no any problems at all? of course not. but the goverment didnot allow anyone to protest.

i think that has become a laughingstock for the international community.
if the goverment has any creative ideas, they should have let people demonstrate then. it could be a great chance to show the world that we are an open and free country. However, we missed it.
and it's now or never.

besides do you think they really care about whether what Chinese people are living a good life or dying? they just care about themselves, they just care about their voters. did any goverment criticized the eight countries who invaded Beijing hundred years ago? think about it my fellowmen.

we should have more rights.
The goverment can't block some sensitive websites only if they will not sabotage our national security. And there should be more freedom for the media. They should expose dark sides concerning the goverment.
But, i keep thinking china is changing every day. and it's going toward the right direction. And i don't think the universal suffrage fits us now. it takes time to prove that. luckily, we have Taiwan , Hongkong and Macao. I think they are the constructive force for a perfect China. (中华民族)

I can't understand why people from abroad would consider China as a negative role in the wolrd.
To comment Tibet, you should know the history of Tibet and it's history in China. you should know what did Dalailama do in the past. why did he run out of Tibet and build up an exile goverment? Not just being brainwashed by the western media. something like, Tibet is the 'Shangri-la', it is the symbol of pureness or Heaven on earth.
Dalailama is the spiritual leader of Tibetans. He is the only person who truely loves, thinks and speaks for the Tibetans. And Tibet are a dead place, people there are in jail. if it is the truth, the Chinese people will not be with the goverment.

i sincerely invite you to Tibet and to see with your own eyes. To prove it, to persuade yourself.

you should also know policies that Chinese goverment giving to the ethnic minorities in China are much better than the Han Chinese. But the Han Chinese never complain, instead, they support them because they are comprehensive and they think minorities are disadvantaged people.

i think that's one of reasons why the CCTV is trying to set up a new international channel to tell the world what we are doing. not just being biased by some media in colored glasses.
so, the best way to know each other is to communiate.

What do people in China do with a day off? 08:33am on 02 Dec 2008 So from your point of view, older pepole in China only head to parks at dawn exercise and sing? while younger people may just simplily go travling?
China is a country with 55 ethnic groups, what you are talking about is just Han Chinese. And even Han people in different areas may do totally different relaxiations during their day offs. how about the Tibet Chinese, mogolia Chinese, zhuang Chinese, Hui(or muslim Chinese)?
I think if your title just writes 'one of my trips in Tianjin during my day off' would be better.

Even if it does have. dare you say it isn't a deal between English People and your goverment or any goverments with their people?
why can't Mc'Cain win the 2008 American presidential election? cauz he is the Republics like the incumbent president George w Bush who is also the Republics,
Bush has done really bad for the American economy. that's why obama says 'we need a change' . and yes, American people made it even if they are reluctant to be ruled by a black president.

i should say, james, you are so smart. you unraveled a mystery which no one has never figured out.
