There are only two important observations:

1. Obviously Fergie ask good friend Big Sam to throw the diddy-managers off Owen with his public doubting of Owen's fitness.

2. Owen with get an EPL WINNERS medal! There was no chance of that at any of his previous clubs!

Brilliant Barcelona outclass Man Utd 07:23am on 28 May 2009 United were finally found out. Too many close 1-0 wins in England hinted at a lack of real attacking flair, and Barca exposed this. A superb performance from them.

I NEVER thought I'd say this, but very good blog! Balanced, interesting, optimistic almost and, I think, accurately researched!

You're correct,we never had a ghost of a chance against Holland, but I do believe if we can reach SA then we'll have a chance of maqking serious history! No, I don't mean winning the thing, but we may reach the 2nd round!

By the way, I saw several interviews of tartan soldiers in Holland. ALL were from north of Perth. Is it true that the southerners just support the old firm, England and Ireland? Get out there on Wednesday, comrades, your country needs you!
