Resourceful Colly reaches landmark 4:58pm on 22 Nov 2009 He may not be everybody's favourite cup of tea but Colly does give 110% effort in every game he plays for England and Durham and you can't fault him for that - very pleased that he had put in a terrific Man of the Match performance today.

TMS has a wizard time in Ashes finale 2:49pm on 24 Aug 2009 As usual you guys have given me many hours of entertainment and i was pleasantly surprised by Matty Hayden whom i'd thought was a real snarly in your face aussie but was a real gent - and yes, you guys did the commentating whilst i was watching it on tv (oh for the days of live cricket on terrestrial tv). As for where were you when Fred run out Punter i'm afraid it was going to the loo or soiling my pants - guess where i went.......
Flintoff a very English hero 10:05pm on 23 Aug 2009 there are lies, damned lies and statistics - and in this context I agree with tafer2uk on his sentiments - never mind that his stats aren't going to set the world on fire - better to remember that Fred gave his all to England's cause, especially the Ashes. Thanks Fred for all of your efforts.
England v Australia Fourth Test player ratings 8:15pm on 09 Aug 2009 Ultimately, it falls down to the usual suspects ie:- wrong call upon winning the toss and not having the right bowlers for the match - personally, Sidebottom would have been a better bet. But fair play to the Aussies - they deserved to win because they got the balance right. As for the Oval test if Fred is fit then play him instead of Harmison and if they want to replace a batsman or two maybe they could try and persuade Trescothick to make a one off appearance - failing that, then Trott is the next best alternative - and at least England have a chance of winning the Ashes as opposed to being 2-1 down.............
On top of the world 1:13pm on 23 Jun 2009 Congratulations on your success in the World T20 - the team's performance against the Aussie girls was one of the highlights for me (England men's team take note !!). You girls deserve all the accolades that may come your way (any chance of an OBE perhaps ??). Enjoy your mini break before taking on the Aussies and best of luck with that.

No excuses for Newcastle 11:02am on 25 May 2009 I just don't understand the big fuss about Newcastle - they got relegated simply because the players did not produce as did Middlesborough and the Baggies - and as far as I'm concerned 'Boro and the Baggies have a much better chance of going up simply because those clubs have got a chairman who has a long term view of the club as opposed to the short term aspirations of Chairman Mike and his minnions.
Tell us your favourite Ashes moments 11:07am on 08 May 2009 3rd Test at Headingley 1981 - Botham's ton & Willis' 8 wicket haul. It was the match that turned me on to cricket in all of its forms and I still get goosebumps watching the highlights.............
Looking forward to Lord's 1:48pm on 01 May 2009 No surprises really and I'm certainly looking forward to hearing Boycott slugging it out with Aggers and Tuffers although I don't rate Boycott's chances against Sir Viv who is soooooo easy going in the commentary box - let battle commence on Wednesday..............
