The car is dead... long live the car 09:35am on 28 Feb 2009 GM only changed the propulsion system, slightly different then Toyota did many years ago.
The electric cars need to be smaller and lighter for the usual occupation of 1.x passengers.
That drives the costs down and increases the fuel economy.
The volt is just a prototype, in the market its dead already.

As a president for all americans he should visit all the states at least once.

Is there any statistics about where presidential candidates campaign?
I bet there are a couple of states where no one ever went.

People do loose job, house, car pension, which is their life as they know it and even though they don't die, they end up in a new life, one or a couple of levels down.

If you are a politician in parliament you have to make personal sacrifices in times of crises, no matter what kind of crises.
