BBC and the Gaza appeal 11:11pm on 25 Jan 2009 The BBC have shown complete contempt for the fate of Palestinians. They report the recent violence as being Israel attacking Hamas then claim this advert might be partial.

In fact, this means that the BBC now have the opinion that assisting palestinians is an act in support of Hamas.

What is the jail sentence for not paying the licence?

We should be organising a mass non-payment and a rise in prison populations if needed as this is the most disgraceful episode in the history of the BBC.

Well done to the Glasgow protesters who occupied the BBC building today.

If the BBC are willing to jeopradise aid to palestinians we should all do all that we can to prevent the BBC operations where possible.

We aklso need an investigation into those who made the decion and their links to Israel. Only the most blatently pro-Israeli could have made this decision.

Kick out the biased management!
Bills, bills, bills 1:08pm on 03 Sep 2008 What a hypocrite Salmond is. He warns other MSPs that will be damned by the public if they reject this bill yet the SNP voted down the same proposals when it was presented to parliament by Tommy Sheridan.

Tommys bill to scrap the council tax was amendable so that the SNP could have voted for the bill to scrap the tax with an amendment replacing Tommy's 'service tax' with their plans for LIT.

The SNP decided that they couldnt support Tommy's bill as collecting nationally through PAYE meant that it wasnt a local tax!

Now they come back with the same idea and say that anyone who doesnt support it will be letting down the public?

By Salmond's own standards SNP MSPs should be ashamed for refusing to vote to scrap the council tax in the previous parliament.
