What makes Phelps so special? 3:44pm on 13 Aug 2008 Surely this infers that the only reason Phelps is winning numerous gold medals is because he's simply toned up an abnormal body from birth. This then is an unfair advantage, similar to the bone structure of a negroid for running.
In my view the points system is flawed. An exaggerated example being;-
Let's say there's a 1,2,3,4, and a 500mts freestyle. It's inevitable that any abnormaly exeptional swimmer will almost certainly win 3 of these. A swimmer who wins a 400mt race by say 3lths. would be that far ahead in a 500lth. event. Hence hogging most golds, to the disadvantage of other competitors.
Here's What Really Happened 6:35pm on 10 Aug 2008 Then again Dave, there are infuriating so-an'so's like myself who can't pretend or change character. I just sit in my chair [I've been told] and pontificate on how i think some things should be done and give advice when it's not wanted. Especialy if i think i could do better.
The mouse is dead? We killed it years ago! 9:55pm on 09 Aug 2008 Having been a Quadriplegic Incomplete for over ten years now, i've found that only an optic mouse will do, and that must have a cable. This i stear with my right fist and click with my left hand, with which i also press the keys. Luckily i've no need of a touchscreen.
The disability market is huge, but we are hardly catered for concerning accessories, unless they are high-tec exspensive gadgets.
We all have little ideas and innovations using hardware and even flashes of insperation on how programming can be improved when surfing, but it's where to take these ideas for all to benefit,
