What causes the corruption is the Political Party system. It is time for that to end with the whole convoluted mess of whipping and local associations and central candidate lists.

Parties are a 17th C solution to the logistical problems of that age. Fortunately they are no longer needed in a modern era. A decent website can fulfill most of the organisational and communication functions of a party. All we have to do now is break the cultural associations around them.

We need truly Independent MPs who are full time, cannot earn money elsewhere, and serve no more than three parliamentary terms. They must be genuine locals and can be picked by a system of primaries.

We need fixed term parliaments, and a reduction of the other Royal Perogative powers, to destroy the power of o ne MP over another.

That is specifically and personally Gordon Brown's fault. Those people protesting in Manchester should not be stopping Griffin get to the count, they should be stopping Brown getting into No10 before he does any more damage.

If I cut your arm off, do you still exist? Obviously you still do.
If I cut your leg off, same question? Again, obviously you do.

In fact if I cut off all your limbs and even your torso, but somehow keep your head alive, you still exist.
If on the other hand I cut off your head, and destroy it, but your body remains, sustained on a life support machine, do you still exist? Obviously not!

I would say that there is an irreducible minimum to which a person, place or object can be degraded and still retain its essence. Beyond that, the essential characteristic is lost.

In the case of the Cutty Sark or London bridge, what is the irreducible essence? Find that, and you have your answer.

Odd really, considering I reread the house rules before submitting it and was certain there was nothing that could be said to be a breach.

I accused Gordon Brown of acting in a contemptible way. Apparently that is against the house rules.

Torture? No such thing.

Uncomfortable, yes, but not even a cause of permanent injury or placing the subject at risk of death.

British resident? No such thing.

This man lived here for a few years, leaving in 2001 apparently to undergo military training in Afghanistan. he has not been back, and frankly, I wouldn't want him back. If David Davis is fool enough to want him to return, perhaps he can give him house room.

Since leaving he has apparently been involved in a 'dirty 'bomb plot mixing conventional explosive and radioactive material.

Since being arrested he claims to have been injected with heroin to get him addicted

It has to be prior to the Constitution, because afterwards, it would no longer be possible. One of the many provisions of the Constitution is to give the EU power to prevent “unapproved,” parties from standing for election.

This is yet another Stalinist bit of control freakery from the world’s most anti-democratic organisation, the Zimbabwe government included.

When you are answering your European Studies exam, I hope you don’t neglect the existence of an organisation called the North Atlantic treaty Organisation. Sensible people recognise that the reason why there has been so little conflict in Europe since 1945 is the continued presence of US soldiers, tanks, aircraft and nuclear weapons on European soil. It is noticeable that the Bosnian debacle occurred after N.A.T.O had been weakened by the influences of the E.U.

Having dispensed with Red Herrings, let me consider your final point.

I take it this is your justification for not continuing with the democratic ratification process. The anti-democratic view has prevailed in most of the countries of Europe, clearly you feel cheated that the Irish get a say.

The only thing revealed by Lisbon, is the profoundly anti-democratic nature of the EU, an organisation which was created through deception, and which has reached its current undemocratic heights through a continuous process of misleading the people of Europe. Until this is addressed, referenda will be the only hope for a free and democratic future in the increasingly Stalinist EU.

Oh, and just in case they take account of spelling in your exam, bureacracies. is actually spelt bureaucracies, while dissapointed is really disappointed.

Those opposed to the Lisbon Constitutreaty should remain focussed on opposition to this at the next referendum, and as many referenda as it takes after that.
