Pretending that they are some kind of artistic statement pretty much defines just how low the standards of many of our educational establishments have sunk.

Even if there were to be a change in the law the government and legal producers and retailers will over price and over tax any legitimate supply and the current illegal producers and drug gangs will simply carry on in exactly the same way as they do now and become a less expensive, but equally dangerous and disruptive source.

As long a mainstream politician continue to avoid the subject and ignore the concerns of the electorate they will be feeding the votes of those people towards the BNP. Who is responsible for Susan Boyle? 3:06pm on 03 Jun 2009 When the BBC's 'Arts & Culture' magazine starts to feature pieces about lowest common denominator television I start to wonder if it's because Britain has become devoid of any talent in the areas of art & culture or, whether the BBC have erroneously appointed an aspiring entertainment journalist to the "Arts & Culture' section.

Please, Razia, let's keep the overexposed media post mortem on the highs & lows of Susan Boyle out of "Arts & Culture'. A television talent competition will never fall into the true sphere of either category, no matter how hard you try and dress it up.

Will you please get rid of the second rate blogger masquerading as arts correspondant, Razia Iqbal, and replace her with someone who understands that fourth rate celebrities - alive or dead - do not fall into either of the categories often referred to as 'art' or 'culture'. If Ms Iqbal wishes to write for the entertainment section of the BBC website then I have absolutely no objection and I would wish her well in what is obviously a more appropriate career path, but please, please, please will someone stop sanctioning these dull, irrelevant and off topic little essays that are well out of the remit of an arts & culture section a media outlet.
BBC News and disabled audiences 00:26am on 20 Feb 2009 I don't know how blind people will cope, but as a fully sighted person I'd guess that by the time I've realised a web address is being read out, searched for pen and paper to write it down and got back into my viewing armchair, not only will I not remember what it was, but the news will probably have ended & we'll be midway through the lastest episode of Eastenders.
