PZ Myers's host desecration 2:07pm on 23 Aug 2008 The actions of Bill Donahue and the Catholic League in this matter need to be questioned. The Center for Inquiry issued a statement in support of Prof. Myers
"Regrettably, many individuals have chosen to threaten to take a vigilante approach to this controversy in an entirely inappropriate and criminal manner, subjecting Webster Cook, P.Z. Myers, and their families to threats of violence. These actions are a blatant affront to our common human dignity. Threats of death and violence, beyond being inarguably dangerous, are an affront to the reputation of your faith tradition and your own organization"

Nicely handeled Q and A however I do worry that the next Chair for the Public Understanding of Science will not be so polite and gracious after hearing the same old tired arguments being trotted out for the umpteenth time. Is it just me or is it a particular trait of Radio Ulster callers that insist on "please let me finish " even though you or certainly Prof. Dawkins can spot the logical fallacy coming from a mile away?
