Why dont you actually listen to it and then tell me that this overwhelming majority of people who called in questioning the wisdom of further powers for Wales are trolls. To any rational person it would appear from that radio phone-in that it is in fact the other side of the argument who are 'trolls' (whatever that means)

It's always the same with you nationalist Plaid activists isnt it... if anyone has anything to say that you dont like then you are falling over each other to brand them 'anti-Welsh'/'trolls'/'not true Welsh' etc etc. Never willing to listen to the concerns of your fellow country folk are you.... Lord help us if we ever have to live under a Plaid dictatorship.
Polls apart? 09:44am on 28 Oct 2009 In order for a bit of reality in this yes vs no debate I would urge people to listen to the 1st hour of yesterdays BBC Radio Wales phone in with Jason Mohammed. It will be on the bbc iplayer.

To me it proves itself as a useful bit of information as for once it is clearly the voices of real Welsh people and not just a fudged opinion poll conducted by closet nationalists and gravy train riders.

I think after listening to the radio show you would have to agree that it is an absolute domination for the no more powers p.o.v. .... and that's before you take into account that the BBC researchers will have been trying to get a balanced debate by deliberately allowing a similar number of 'yes' and 'no' supporters air time. The fact that they couldnt find a similar number is hilarious.

This is a similar situation to what I've seen in previous BBC radio Wales phone-ins on this subject too. Isn't it strange that polls with WAG and IWA involvement always show different.

yes it is what's bothering me the most today(although thanks to BBC CYMRU it is now in fact tomorrow)! I want to watch question time with the rest of the uk, get to bed at a reasonable hour and not be reminded about how I'm missing out with messages saying "interactive services are not available" all over my screen .

Mappex is right... obviously things beyond your village dont interest you and you've never watched Question Time which, as I said earlier is the flagship political debate show on tv in the UK.

The reason, it is a disgrace is because we in Wales pay our license fee like everybody else but we cannot interact 'live' with the rest if the UK. What is David Dimbleby going to do with the email sent from Wales 30 mins too late when they've long since moved onto the next subject??? File it under drawer B1N that's what!

An absolute disgrace! BBC CYMRU/wales are out of step on this scheduling issue. It's no wonder that so many aerials point towards England. Thankfully Sky, Virgin media and digital all provide BBC 1 London somewhere in the high numbers so we can join in the live debate via email and the red button with the rest of our friends in the UK.

But of course our nationalist infiltrated media here in Wales doesn't seem to want us to integrate with our friends over the border on the flagship political programme broadcast in the UK. No No... they'd sooner have us watch propoganda and debate LCO's and the future of the Welsh language till we're bored to death whilst the rest of the UK deals with the bigger issues!
Oops. 2:47pm on 22 Oct 2009 Wow Mappex.... that was a stonker. In light of all the talk about 'Question time' I should like to see something of impact like that post belted out on a sort of 'Question Time Wales' one day. Although no doubt it would be called 'Question Time Cymru' if our beloved BBC CYMRU/wales had anything to do with it :)

You think that 'most' kids in Newport would vote for independence?!? I despair sometimes at the amount of delusion that exists in the minds of some people on this blog? Have you even been to Newport?

Even the slanted Assembly funded polls investigating the support for devolution show that the level of people wanting independence is running at half the level of those who want to abolish the WAG.... and that is for the whole of Wales!! In a place like Newport, support for independence will be even less... not that the WAG will have sampled Newport of course! They'd be too busy trying to skew the findings by spending their time in Aber and Caernarfon :)

maybe not ... But why not take the opinion of a representative sample of the welsh population just to be safe... After all it's what any reputable research organisation would do.

No doubt the concepts of confounding factors and bias are not familiar to anybody on the WAG payroll
Going around, coming around 3:43pm on 13 Oct 2009 Cilmyn... as much as you'd like it to be, the issue here is not what the Tory toffs in Westminster are doing.

You cant keep going on about the tories when WAG initiatives like International Business Wales are pulling their own 'tory-esque' expenses fiddles and enjoying the fat cat lifestyle on our tight Welsh budget. What's worse is that the report out today confirms that they have done nothing for inward investment in Wales whatsoever. At least the tories usually generate something whilst they're apparently milking the system. IBW have nothing to show for the vast sums of money that we the Welsh public pay for them to be in existence.

People will begin to see that with increased powers in Wales we are also leaving ourselves open to exploitation by an incestuous network of backscratching elitists! This is the very thing that those paltry 25% of the electorate that actually wanted devolution wanted to avaoid. Now then Cilmyn (and I can tell by the way you write you are an avid Plaid supporter), I would suggest activists like yourself and you party need to stop insulting the people of Wales by never being accountable for anything... always pointing to westminster and the Tory bogeyman (who in this case have absolutely nothing to do with it!).

I am fairly certain that the majority of people in Wales will view the endless and petty arguments over the translation of assembly minutes last month as 'bickering'. What is for darn sure is that they will not view the whole sorry affair as 'just getting on with the job' as you put it.... particulary if that job is improving the lives of Welsh people like it's supposed to be!

antique = nice to have but not essential. Usually just for show and doesnt actually do anything... but always darned expensive!
