The most divisive and tasteless selection in cricket history 7:34pm on 09 Sep 2008 This Stamford stuff does feel odd. Can't imagine the England football team playing for 1 million dollars each against an all-star 11. (maybe, a team like the allied prisoners in "escape to victory")

Seems, 'Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.' But, like must of us, I will still be watching... hopefully for free, on a streaming website on the Internet.

if people disagree with what Aggers writes in his blog the perfect place to post it is here, on his blog page.

especially if what Aggers writes is supposed to stimulate debate. And even though I wouldn't go in for a personal attack against the man himself, anyone who reads his blogs regularly will know that he didn't think KP should be, or would be, captain because of his so called "ego".

Therefore, I think it's very fair comment to say that KP is the MAIN reason for England's sudden turn around in form, and not Flintoff and Harmison as Aggers puts forward.

Anyway, just wanted to say it was good to hear you back at your commentating best: letting Geoffrey go off on his merry way and holding back, just enough, with witty asides; perfect.

Aggers got it wrong.

I like his radio commentary but his blog criticising KP during the last test has to go down as something worthy of "The Sun" in is sensationalist, dogmatic, stupidity.

And to people who post on these boards telling people to lay off Aggers, why?

He has a voice with his blog and a responsibility to put up his hand and say he got it wrong in saying that KP “must surely have ruled himself out of the reckoning” of becoming captain by playing one rash shot.

Oh, and to say that someone has an ego is not an insult: we all have one.

It’s great to see so many cricket fans have come on here and criticised you for your negative, old fashioned and clearly-influence-by-an-Alex-Stewart-rant article attacking KP.

Aggers read the responses, people just aren’t buying it.
