Is Apple recession proof? 10:47pm on 22 Jan 2009 I think most people have had enough of junk products that cost less to buy but cause problems and quickly become worthless.

Apple is continuing to innovate and as Tim Cook said, it will spend on R&D through this recession like it did in 2001.

It is likely not going to be recession proof, but comparing Apple to the others will make it look like it is.

When is someone going to do something about Microsoft?

All these faults, these flaws, and with serious implications for our security and they go on saying things are not so bad and you don't need to switch to alternative products?

How do they get away with it? I'd like to know.
Mac malware - were we wrong? 3:38pm on 03 Dec 2008 Well the faceless censors of the BBC dot.life chose to remove my post above as it appears to have advertised 'products or services for profit or gain'. Uh?

So beware, you are no not allowed to say Macs are more secure than Windows, even if it might the case.

So a different point I would like to make. Yes the BBC was wrong and is wrong. Re-reporting news coming out of blogs is not what it should be doing. Where is the checking and verification? The original article on the Apple site said clearly it was an OLD tech note that had just been modified - it would have been a two second check.

Everyone including you Rory, is exacerbating the problem of the internet echo chamber.

Darren Waters fears he will "incriminate yourself"?

You don't mean, Darren that you are fearful of upsetting the Microsoft Mafia do you?

This advert speaks reams of the position Microsoft is in today - blind in the wilderness.

The message of this ad is that Microsoft admits that Vista (let alone Zune/Office/Xbox/Search etc) is a total mess and, nudge nudge, wink wink, wants you to stop moving to Apple Mac because "the next one" is going to be really great.

It's SO AWFUL and SO TRANSPARENT it beggars belief...

And as I would expect from the sad land of Britain there will be many people who will stand up and say how wonderful it is. Just read what the world is saying and stop making Britain look like a cretinous land of people in thrall to Microsoft.
