If Torres was playing for Chelsea or Arsenal or Man Utd Drogba would be left trailing.

I disagree. Adebayor did nothing wrong. He celebrated a goal somewhere on his homeground - well within his rights to do so. Thierry Henry did the same to Spurs fans. Football violence should be delt with firmly, but not by banning players from celebrating goals they score. If adebayor is panished for his celebrating then all those who were shouting insults at him and his family throughout the match should be given a long ban as well, not appeased by punishing Adebayor for upsetting and 'proviking' them. These hooligans were all caught on CCTV I am sure.

You are entirly missing the point. There would have been no violence if Adebayor did not run the whole legnth of the pitch to not celebrate but to solely provoke. If he was so glad of scoring surly he would have celebrated in front of his fans not to turn and provoke crowd violence.

Adebayor is a thug and thugs love to provoke people. Stamping on RVP, stamping on Fabregas, he has no regard for anyone except himself. Adebayor is the provoker in this. All week he was winding the Arsenal fans up and he thinks he was not going to get a reaction? If he did not openly state he wanted to play for Milan and then just stroll around on the pitch like the lazy thug he is then the Arsenal fans would not have got on his back in the first place.

If you had your child in the front row of that Arsenal section and Adebayor provoked that behind you I am sure you would have a different opinion.
Burnley high on emotion 12:07pm on 20 Aug 2009 To be honest we all know that Burnley are a good side. They knocked out Chelsea and Arsenal in the Carling cup last season. Chelsea had the likes of Deco, Drogba and Lampard on teh pitch and the Arsenal kids are a very solid unit that most Premiership clubs cant compete with.

I think Burnley will be safe.

Thats sums it all up really. This document was drawn up in support of Usmanov's proposal, it was always going to try and sell the idea to the Arsenal board.

The Arsenal board would also have looked down every possible avenue of the clubs finances and how to keep them at a level that are easily payed back.

They would not throw out a proposal such as this if they did not think that the report was way over the top.

Either way when Man Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea all fall to their debts Arsenal will still be standing strong.

Little money and seemingly their targets are all flocking to Real Madrid as well as their best players.

Obviously they have no trust in Rooney's goalscoring ability to put their faith in player who passed his prime over 5 years ago such as Owen
Man Utd right to sell Ronaldo 10:15am on 12 Jun 2009 His antics on the field throughout the season were clearly of a player who had no desire to play for Man Utd.

Anyway the good news is that most of the interest so far obtained can now be paid off.

Dont expect big money signings though, Man Utd need every penny for when the debt starts to be repaid.

Awful commentary coupled with drab pundits lead me to watch the England games on tv with 5live commentary.

If Setanta have to give back teh England rights all the better for everyone

There are footballing reasons as well you know.

Why would an already well established world great want to play for a team with no history, average players, in a city with miserable weather? Compare that to Real Madrid, it was barley worth the effort taken to type this its so obvious

Added to this did you even read the blog? It clearly highlights the relationship that Kaka and Milan had since Milan accepted the bid. Things had changed since Man City making a fool of themselves on the world stage.

Kaka would have chosen Real Madrid over City even if they only offered him £10 a week.
Barry gets England talking 8:01pm on 03 Jun 2009 Why such a fuss over Barry?

I would not put him in the top 15 central midfielder list for the premiership let alone the world.

He only went to Man City as he would not get a starting role in a champions league club, simple as that.

By the time Man City have finished splashing the cash this summer whats to say he wont even be in the starting line-up at City?

Barry has made a foolish move imo. I thought he wanted a CL spot? Obviuosly he is happy dwindling looking for a Europa League spot for the rest of his career as no doubt by the time Man City ever do get into the CL he will long be relegated to the bench.

If signing Barry is a statment of Man City's ambition then we are in for a long and boring season of slowing the game down to the minimum so that Barry can actually play a part.
