The main fact is that 6 Million people are dependent on Brown's nanny superstate. This is the true failure of this Gov't, stripping generations of their responsibility to the wider community.

Brown has created a nation of "takers" in the city and "takers" in the community.

Time for a change to help us taxpaying "givers" to rebalance the books!
Tories bash the rich 4:56pm on 06 Oct 2009 I am self-employed and have seen my income fall by over 80% in the last 2 year due to Labour's recession.

I would have loved a 5% pay cut from my 2007 level income!

It's time the public sector shared the pain.......but the things is George hasn't gone far enough!

It's economically timid but poltically wise.

I say tell em it's a 5% cut, get their vote and then slash it 20%!

That will get the nations budget in order........how do I know?

Well it's happened to me. When you're income goes down the words thrift and save come well and truly into play!
Cameron keeps schtum on Lisbon 6:07pm on 04 Oct 2009 I am afraid that David Cameron's interview this morning was truly dreadful.

Firstly Europe. Yes state the current policy but also tell us what you are going to do about us being sucked into a political union we don't want! Even if it takes a few years to do let's try to renegotiate our terms with the continent and then put the new terms to a vote!

Secondly jobs and debt. Good ideas explained through a fog of wool! Tell it like it is please! We are in debt up to our eye-watering eyeballs and cannot borrow any more money to prop up the nanny state! It will be slashed and burned until it's affordable once again! And where was the policy for free enterpise? Without people to take risks there will be no new businesses nor any growth to get the people off Labour dole queue! Maggie would have championed the self-employed and entrepreneurs! Get with the programme Dave!

Thirdly. After last weeks nauseating painkiller question Marr was always going to hit you with a personal question. What your asset worth is nothing to do with whether you have the right policies. I would have told him to get stuffed on national TV.

Dave, drop the softly softly approach to policy. Now is the time for hard conviction.

'Labour's lost it,' says the Sun 08:33am on 30 Sep 2009 The guy is so arrogant I can barely listen to him anymore! I don't want a TV debate because I cannot stand anymore of his excuses, U-turns, dithering and downright lies and re-writing of history! The man is an utter fraud!

In 7 months we'll all be able to cast a vote a get rid of this unelected weasel.

Like many millions I've made up my mind. I don't need to hear anymore from this man or his party.

I'm shutting off from the hooo-har of the next few months. I'll then re-awake on election day and then spend all night watching the political slaughtering of GB and his weak Cabinet wanabees! Bliss!

It seems Obama is leading Brown through the kitchen but it will be the the electorate who will give him one huge boot up the backside and out of the back door within no more than 300 days!

We have the no-frills airlines..........why not a no frills state sector?
The axe begins to swing 1:27pm on 18 Sep 2009 It's time to axe the bloated, income and wealth consuming public sector by a minimum of 20%........ to allow the wealth creating sector spearheaded by small business to get us out of this mess!

Down with the state! Hurrah for free enterprise!
