The rise of the English South Africans 08:12am on 06 Nov 2009 I doubt very much that Strauss and Trott grew up barracking for England. In fact i'd imagine they spent a good bit of their time barracking against England. Is this who gets to play for your national team? The fans deserve better. If this was the state of cricket in my home nation I would have given up watching.
England left to absorb shocking defeat 09:50am on 06 Jun 2009 Absolutely hysterical stuff. No commitment in the england team, we see it so often it is now routine. Admirably the english constantly talk up the teams chances as a 'new team with real potential' but puit them in the spotlight and they wilt, if indeed they were actually any good to start with. England is so far from being a force in world cricket it's unreal. Your cricketers seriously need some balls, it must make supporters so angry to watch such ineptitude. And all this talk of ashes victories??? hmmmm.... I think we'll all just be impressed if they turn up to the right ground.
Aussies send Ashes warning 09:21am on 11 Mar 2009 Hmmmm, after watching the aussies dismantle, nay blow apart, the saffers at home, I suspect that if we are going to equate the upcoming ashes with any kind of collective noun, it would probably be a 'murder' of crows.
Alec Stewart's England ratings 6:25pm on 14 Jul 2008 This blog has gone south very quickly. Opinions of great players are always fun and interesting to hear but I'm afraid your ratings just seem to fall a bit to close to your personal interests, Colly a 6 and Ambrose a 3.5?? Harsh.
