Review of the week 1:44pm on 11 Nov 2008 What about George Boateng last week on Sky talking about the Villa game?! He was useless - even the presenter didn't know what to say when faced with his near pigeon English analysis of the game! They pick some right numpties on Sky, they go for the name rather than people with any intelligence or analytical skill!

The demons that drive Romero 00:13am on 18 Aug 2008 Surely Rebecca Romero must be considered a truly great Olympian, to win a silver and gold in two different INDIVIDUAL sports, that is much better than swimming faster than everyone else using different strokes. The only comparable is Carl Lewis, who sprinted and did the long jump, though even then, the latter was sprint and then jump. This is rowing and cycling - i mean, one takes place on water!! Amazing!
England bowling lacks menace 8:52pm on 20 Jul 2008 Judging by the performance over the last few days of test cricket (including Lords) he isn't actually doing a good job as Captain - so pray tell, what on earth is the point of Vaughan?!?! Plus, I hate his smug smile of self satisfaction when he's sitting on the balcony as others make runs, thus securing his position i.e. so long as England don't lose, he's safe. That won't be the case by 4.30pm tomorrow!

i thought england should not have enforced the follow on, and gone out and made more runs, just to say "we can bat". they were never in 100 years going to bowl south africa out again and force the win, but could have put them in with a day and a half to go, chasing 550-600 to win. instead, the bowlers toiled away for 3 days and will know be knackered!!!
Alec Stewart's England ratings 6:01pm on 14 Jul 2008 i do agree that the 'disclaimer' about conflict of interest is worth nothing, but then again, neither are the ratings. these have no bearing on team selection, after all alec is not a selector is he? no need to get worked up, it just so happens that alec has a private opinion (fair or not) that he has the opportunity to air!

having said that, ambrose inspires no confidence, and read rather than prior should get a game. collingwood should be dropped for shah, let him get his form back in county cricket - worked for strauss and bell(!) after all!
