Spurs learn silence is golden 9:11pm on 01 Nov 2009 It's nice to see some Arsenal fans respect the effort Tottenham are trying. Any fan that says stupid stuff like "LOL @ spurs..." etc. Its childish. Shut Up.

Yes, we did conceed silly goals. But the effort was there. My best mate is an Arsenal supporter, and was there. We are doing well this season. No, were not as good as Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal etc, but were giving it a good go this year. There was another comment that was said earlier that made me think...
"I do, however, have a problem with what's been left unsaid, for example that Spurs are currently fourth in the table despite their deafeat and have a real chance of finishing there whether they make January signings or not." - quoted from wengorama.

Everyones writing of Tottenham to finish in the top 4 already cause we havn't beaten Man U, Arsenal or Chelsea. We are 5th now, behind Man C on goal difference. Yes, weve lost to the Big 3, however, we are still right up there. So cut us some slack. Wether we finish in the top 4 or not, so far this has been a great season for us, and i see many more to come.
My alternative review of the season 00:59am on 16 May 2009 Most Under-rated Manager. For me, thats got to be Harry Redknapp. Look at what he's done at tottenham. 8 games into the season, only 2 points. Relegation material. He comes in, and now were pushing for europe. Im not choosing him cause im a spurs supporter, but because he's done so well. Giofranco Zola aswell. He's turned west ham into a descent side.
Reading show there's life after relegation 11:39pm on 10 Feb 2009 My mate supports reading, and, being mates, we always take the micky out of him. But, realisticaly, im really impressed with Reading. Most teams that get relegated you dont see again, but reading have proven that by sticking with the same manager that got a top half finish, and keeping most of the players that secured that finish, that anything is possible.

There is 1 thing ide want to ask you Paul, what do you think on QPRs chances of getting into the prem. My father is a QPR supporter and i said if they came up ide take him to see them play spurs ;)

Im just curious as to what your views would be on QPR.

No carping about Kaka coup 2:39pm on 16 Jan 2009 As alot of posts have already said, the thing that worries me is that 500k a week is an obsene amount of money, and 100m for a player, again, is obsene. But as Phil pointed out, if Hughes only had 100m, he would splash it on 1 player, its the fact he has that 100m for that 1 player, and he can have another 100m for 5 or 6 players.

But do tell me Phil, we all know that Man City need defenders and Defending Midfielders, as thats where their frailties are. They made a good deal getting Wayne Bridge, but thats not enough.

Phil, who would you try and get if you were managing Man C?
Tottenham go back to basics 10:47am on 27 Oct 2008 i think this is a step in the right direction for us. I do feel abit bad for Ramos as i felt Comolli didnt help him this season. And Poyet. But Harry is a top manager, he can speak to the players, get what he wants out of the players. He can speak english. Poyet as his no.2 would of been good.heh.

Tell me Phil, if you were manager, who would you play and in what position etc. Im interested to hear your view :)

Blame is the Spur 4:32pm on 20 Oct 2008 I can see what you mean robbo. im a spurs fan and i'll stick by my club no matter what! all the mates joke, tellin me that spurs are being relegated this season, and stupid statistics like only 6 teams have played 7 games and won none. 4 went down, and the only 2 to stay up won their 8th game (unlike spurs)...

I dont know what to think atm...i dont know why they say Pavlyuchenk and Bent cant play together. They are both strikers, so thats what they should be doing...4.4.2 is what i think. With Pav and Bent up front.

Robbo, can you tell me what you think spurs could do to change this. would be interested to see what your thoughts would be.
Ramos facing Titanic struggle 5:37pm on 06 Oct 2008 I am, and always will be, a spurs fan. Even if the worst were to happen, i will never stop supporting them. Everyone is saying we need a midfielder who needs to get stuck in and winnign the ball back, and i agree totally. when the opponants have the ball, we get it back by either a goal kick or if gomes saves it. O'hara, someone from our academy, needs to be played more. Hes young, eager and likes to get stuck in. He can get the ball back and can score goals too. Against newcastle in the carling cup. Okay, newcastle were poor that night and so were we, but O'hara got stuck in, and his goal (even though the defending was poo) was good. He was composed, 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper, puts it in the back of the net. I dont know who we should get in Jan to sort out our problem, but i know many other spurs fans posting on here do know who we should get. I just hope we get this sorted out soon.

And Phil, please tell me. If you were managing spurs, who would you put out on the field and in what formation and positions etc. Im just curious to hear who you would choose.

Keegan exit turns heat on Ashley 5:02pm on 02 Sep 2008 im a spurs fan, and i feel pretty gutted for the newcastle fans. newcastle arnt going to be a 'big 4' team in a while, however, they could still play for the uefa cup spot etc. they could of still been very succesful. Im very sad to hear keegan has gone. i, for one, thought he was a good manager, and given time, would have made newcastle a very good team. its not like at spurs when jol went, cause we had a very poor start to the season, 4 points in 3 games for newcastle is good and shows that they are having a good start. i hope ashley knows he will be facing a revolt from the fans, bad move on his part getting rid of Keegan.

Best wishes to Keegan and im sorry that, probably, his last participation in football ended on a sour note =[
